I had taken this job with full confidence that it would be completedThe tree were large but not out of reachThere would be extensive
hauling and fuel consumption so a deposit was requested prior to being contractedWe started out fineMy climber had begun greatOver the next few days he was nowhere to be found.*** I had expressed my regrets to the *** and referred them to *** who I felt was a good team and could take overI went back to the site and cleaned up the debrisWe had felled on leaning spruce and began the poplars when my climber disappearedAfter some back and forth emails I agrees that the refund was well deserved and asked for time to get things shut down and then I would send the refundAt that moment I had spent a great deal of money trying to resolve several issues relating to the unreliability of the climber/foreman I had left in chargeI was overwhelmed with a back log of incomplete jobsIt took several months to recoverI had shut down operations for half a year because I could not find any one that was remotely reliable in this industry to climbI have finally been able to somewhat regain myself and am certainly agreed to the refundI will take it to them

I've tried to respond to this complaintIf a requested refund is to be paid back then the words in her complaint need to be changedAs it stands the amount of damage that the Revdex.com can cause is too muchPosting without edit isn't going to work here.*** I am very trustworthyI've looked over the amount of time I put into that jobBeing new at the business I underestimated the costPlus I had reliability issues with workersIn any event if her post gets posted as is then no refund will be issued

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/03/18) */
Wow. [redacted]. No complaints. No fussing. She helped. Was happy. 50% off usual price. My NEW CLIMBER was unaware she wanted any more wood. We cleaned that place spic and span. She was very...

sure we knew she was a police officer for Edmonton. So do you think we were going to do anything to piss her off. No. We left he a ton of wood. Asked if she wanted more. SHE SAID NO. after the property was cleaned and we had left she mentioned she wanted would from a very very small tree in the front yard. Keep in mind this was last year. Because we clean so diligently the very very small tree was disposed of. We are talking about 10 pieces of usual able fire wood. If she is so terribly distraught over the wood she can have all the wood for the rest of the season. Otherwise I have nothing else to say. We feel very under appreciated here. I can't believe someone would complain several months later over such a minor mis communication. I don't have time to run around baking cakes for people. We REMOVE trees. If things get removed well that's what happens.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/03/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I provided Carl (owner) with instruction that I would like two trees cut down and the wood cut up for fire food, this was agreed upon before the work started. As Carl was not present, I took the initiative to inform the "New Climber" I wanted both trees cut up for fire wood. I assisted in cutting it up the first tree but had to go to work before the second tree was cut down. The tree was a mature spruce a far stretch from a "very tiny tree / 10 pieces of wood. Payment was made prior to me being able to view completed work.
I attempted to contact Carl numerous times by phone (calling and text). After a few months I realized that he was not going to take any action to address my concerns.
Due to the unprofessional and emotional comment received by the Company through Revdex.com and then finally contacting me personally. I would not like this company or person to deliver anything to my property. And a poor review and knowledge for potential customers will have to suffice.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2016/04/14) */
Hello,
I would not longer like this to have a resolution to this complaint. The owner has been irrational in responses both in the Revdex.com and by text. I wish no further contact and am satisfied if there is just the complaint.
Thank you,
[redacted]

I've called and called. No response. Just keeps complaining here. So? What can I do. This complaint is false. Some people just don't want anything but a fight. Yes we ACCIEDENTLY disposed of 10 pieces of useable wood. Oops. Sorry. We remove trees. That's what we do. We don't leave branches in trees and on and on. We don't leave tools behind and we always make things right. Here? I don't know what to say.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2015/07/29) */
Thank you for the email. In order to be a good business I completely accept full responsibility in the incomplete job at this address. [redacted] and her husband are very good people and are well within reason in their complaint. Due to...

lack of reliable help I have fallen behind on some jobs and have let go of the unreliable help and am trying to rectify the situation. I would like to finish the stump grinding or pay what ever they had to pay if they had it done. As well I'd offer some complementary services if they need anything done. Thank you.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 16, 2015/08/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Thank you for your reply and your willingness to make this right. We understand that it's not easy to own/run your own business and certainly know there are challenges with getting & keeping reliable help.
We had to have the stumps removed as it was holding up our other projects. I paid[redacted]. To be fair, that included taking out a small shrub at the front, which was never part of your work. I'm not sure what portion of what was paid to you was for stump removal.
Regarding compensation, I want to be fair and I believe you do as well. Thank-you and we wish you a successful business.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/08/20) */
I cut this tree within two hours of his call. I went way out of my way and put other people off to tend to his needs. Because we were working our trailer was full. We got his entire tree in the trailer except for a 5 foot by 10 inches diameter...

section of the trunk. I told him that we would try our best to get back there by the end of the day but if I couldn't it would happen in the next few days. I had spoken to him bobcat operator and he DID NOT want the trunk any lower because he needed it for leverage. [redacted] I finally got his verbal consent to finish the cut which took all of 3 minutes. Job complete. Please note that everything was cleaned and raked. [redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/08/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
[redacted] He was never in touch with my bobcat operator ([redacted] In any event, my arrangement with him was to remove the entire tree - he was providing services to me under a contract that was fully paid, [redacted]
After several attempts to get him to finish the job, I told him that we were travelling out of town on holiday and that it would be best if he completed the job before we left. I never told him to stay off my property - I merely said that I would not grant him permission to come into our property while we were away, unless he could guarantee that he would be responsible for any damage that occurred while we were away. This exchange occurred after several requests to him to complete the job. He finally said he would guarantee responsibility for any damage, upon which I granted him permission to enter while we were away. However, he still did not finish the job while we were away even though he had my express permission to do so. [redacted]
While he did eventually complete the job, it was not until two days after I filed this complaint, and a couple of weeks after I paid him and he started the job. Our arrangement was that he complete the job in one visit.
[redacted]
