I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Dear Sir,You state that "At that point if you were worried about a missing ring you had the chance to request a full refund then."  How was I supposed to know if a ring was missing from the necklace?  I looked at the figure through the window of the packaging and I noticed there was a necklace but nothing on that necklace.  I never mentioned a ring at that time because I didn't know there was supposed to be a ring on the necklace. I asked you if there was supposed to be something on the ring and you said no.  The fact that you said I mentioned a ring at the time of the purchase proves again you are not being honest.Also, in your response you never addressed the condition of the packaging.  When I purchased this, you said it was never opened before and it was purchased directly from the manufacturer, Neca.  After extensive research and the pictures I sent you, that was not true.  Also, the fact that you gave me a discount and provided me a box is irrelevant here.  My point of contention here is that you told me the item was brand new, never opened before, and purchased directly from Neca.  You still haven't addressed this.  Also, if something is brand new and never opened before, why is there a need for a customer to open it and inspect it?  When you purchase something brand new and unopened from [redacted] or [redacted] **, do customers open the packaging and inspect it before they leave the store? This makes no sense.Also, I have all the texts you sent me.  You never said you would get back to me in a couple of months.  You said "Let me do some research about that necklace, will let you know."  You never responded.  I purchased the item in April and waited until July which is a reasonable amount of time.  You had no plans to get back to me.  The only reason you're responding now is because the Revdex.com contacted you.  You have made no attempts to resolve this and you still haven't.  I was very nice to you when I met you so I don't know what I did to deserve this.

Dear [redacted],We are sorry to hear about your complaint regarding your purchase of the NECA 1/4 scale 18" Crow figure back in April of 2017. Good Fortune Gifts has been in business for over a decade and customer satisfaction is our priority. Therefore, At the point of sale, we indicated to you...

our store's policy is that all sales are final, and that there are no refunds. Furthermore, we stressed to you the importance of inspecting item carefully before purchasing. We want all our customers to verify the quality of their purchases and to be 100 percent satisfied before they leave our store.In addition, you asked for a discount on this figure which was originally at $150.00, reasoning that you will making more purchases from us in the future. Since you appeared to be courteous and sincere we gave you a 20% discount on the item . You then inquired about getting a free shipping box and free packing material since you could not bring the items on the plane, and needed to ship the item home. We were more than happy to provide those services to you since we had a shipping box available and packing material. After you had paid you then inspected the item, you asked if the figure was supposed to come with a ring on the string around his neck. I responded that I was not sure if there was a ring for this figure. This ring that you were asking about would have been approximately the size of a pin head since this item is a 1/4 scale figure. After you inspection of box and figure you told us you were satisfied and to pack item up in the shipping box so that you can take the I tem to ship home.I then received a text from you on April **, 2017, telling me the figure arrived safely to your home. You then said you verified that it was supposed to come with a 1/4 scale ring for the figure, based on some [redacted] videos you saw online. I then told you that I would look into this matter, and get back to you in a few months. I also stated that the missing ring could have been caused by human error at the NECA factory since the ring is so tiny. The next time I heard back from you was when I was off from work via a text on our national holiday on 7/*/17 at 4:45pm.I hope that we can work together to find a resolution, that we are mutually satisfied with. However, I feel that your demand for a full refund is unreasonable, since we had informed you of our store's policy to inspect your item before and after your purchase. You then had personally inspected item before we packed the item for you to take to the Post office to ship. At that point if you were worried about a missing ring you had the chance to request a full refund then, and we would have been more than happy to comply. We hope that we can resolve this issue in a reasonable manner.Regards,
