Review: I pressed the 87 grade gas and was charged 50+ cents more a gallon. I went inside to retrieve my receipt. Owner came out to my car and told me the hose attached to the nozzle occasionally hits the 93 grade button and causes the discrepancy in price. He told me this happens about every six months. I asked him for a refund for the difference. I told him I pressed the correct (87) button and this was the price and gas I expected. He became very hostile, charged back in the store, yelled at me to get out of his store. I proceeded to follow him to get my refund and he again yelled at me to get out of his store and never come back. This was totally inappropriate behavior to a customer who has been using this gas station for 30 plus years.

Once and a while the hoses on the pumps get twisted, then when the customer picks up the nozzle the hose will hit the premium button on the dispenser and change it from regular to premium with out them realizing it. The dispenser will let you change grades as many times as you want before you actually start pumping. Initially when I put in these dispensers when this occurred have had the petroleum company out to check the issue, they told me it was a fairly common problem, I even caught it on video once. I typically go out show the customer what happened and then refund them the difference. In this particular instance the customer began by screaming at me from the start telling me it was the cashiers fault, The cashier is not able to make that change from the register, it can only be done from the dispenser. I tried to go out and show her what happened and she would not let me get three words out before telling me I was wrong. I did get hostil after she told me to "give her [redacted] money back". I told her I would be right back with her money and that I never wanted to see her on my property again. Right or wrong in the area my business is in, I do get hostile customers from time to time and after they swear at or make [redacted] to any of the staff we stop trying to reason with them and ask them to leave.[redacted]
