By far the best moving company I have ever usedFrom the first phone call till the end of the moving process, the team was Profesional, personal, caring, honest and very careful with all my belongingsThey gave me tips before the move that made the move easy and stress freeThe care they used when packing and moving my belongings was amazingThey put all the boxes and items in the correct rooms and places which made unpacking very easyThey kept everything clean and tidy in both my old apartment and in my new houseI can not thank good place moving enough for making what is normally a stressful time into a worry free and positive experience I would and have recommended Good Place moving to everyone, and will be using the company again in the future
I really, really wanted to give this company a good review The four men that showed up (hours late) worked so hard, for almost hours
I really can't complain about how hard they worked, what I can complain about is the amount of damage that was done to my furniture
I repeatedly asked Dave, that blankets would be used inside the truck to protect my furniture Each time he assured me of course they would be using blankets Some items were wrapped in plastic, but not sufficiently enough to protect them My granite table is severely scraped, from being dragged most likely into the truck Will cost me at least $to have that polished out My buffet is scratched across feet Multiple scratches on that And much more damage caused by this move I most likely saved a few hundred dollars, with the cost of this move, but have cost myself many more hundreds of dollars in repairs I definitely will spend more next time, hopefully get more of a careful group
I have emailed the company, and have had no response Unfortunately as we started out late in the day, we ended later as wellSo it was hard to see some of this damage into the eveningIt was not noticed until the next day
This company failed to show up for my scheduled move
After I called them to find out about the delay I was told they would call me when they were unloading the move that was just before mineThey did not call backThey just closed for the day leaving me high and dry withot a moverThey have not called me back to find a resolution
They was the absolute worst movers I have ever come in contact withIf I could score less than one star I would
I booked them a month in advance for 10am on a Wednesday November 23rdThey called the day before to say they would have to bump me to 11:30, no problem11:and they still aren't there I called and was told "They were just driving to the truckThey'll be another half an hour
At 12:they still weren't there I'm told that all the trucks have all of their batteries stolenAll of them?
I am then told it will be an hour tops to get them changedThis continues until 3:30pm, a full hours AFTER the appointment was bookI am also asked if I can do my move the next day? Absolutely insane
When the "Top movers" show up, they smell like ***, and spend hours moving a bedroom suite I go out to see why they are taking so long to load items into the truck and they are hanging around talking about how to move thingsThen I find out that the "Top Mover" isn't even a moverHe's the boyfriend of the drivers, mother
After all of that, and my husband moving the majority of our stuff into the new house, they charged us full price for hours of work, plus travel time
I have worked in Restoration for years and have never had such a horrible experienceSmelling of *** and being hours late? Not acceptableI will be telling everyone I know, including all social media outlets how your team are completely incompetent
Dave and his team where great I had them move me in october they where able to move my snooker table wich most companies wanted to charge me $extra along with all my other items they did the move flawless not a scratch ding or nick anywhere .The price was very resonableThe team was professional had my kids around no profanity I was quite impressed with the company as I have moved times in past year and had a very unsatisfied ecperience I will be recommending Good place moving from now on thanks again
We Had Good Place Movers do our move Jan 22 2016. The guys were fast, efficient and friendly. The office kept us informed with a reminder of our booked appointment a few days ahead, and an ETA of the trucks arrival on moving day. They went out of the way to do all we asked, such as putting our beds together and properly putting each piece of furniture in to its location. our home had just been reno ed. They were careful not to hit any walls or slide stuff on the floor.
We used good place moving Co. For our move. When we got to our new place we discovered that our 60 in TV was broken. The fellow in charge of the move asked us if we had insurance. We assumed it was included but that we had not been offered it. He gave us a 180$ reduction of the cost of the move towards the cost of fixing the TV. When we didn't heat from anyone the owner was called. He again asked if we got the insurance and we said it wasn't offered. He said "what do you expect me to do?" We said we want the TV fixed or a new one. He said "[redacted] sue me" we went to a repair shop and was told the inside screen was broken and it wasn't worth the at least 600$ to fix it.

Good Place Moving was a pleasure to work with. The team that came to help with our move were hard working and had great attitudes. They went above and beyond what we expected them to do. They tackled jobs at the end of the day with the same enthusiasm as the beginning. Their rates were very reasonable as well. I have already recommended them to a friend and will continue to do so. I will also use them in the future when the need arises.
