Revdex.com:
I
have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business did contact me on SaturdayThey explained the error and indicated the double would be refunded and should be seen in my account in a few daysI indicated I understood but stressed my sincerest disgust that this happenedIt is quite intentional to keep my credit card details on file after a transaction occurred and was already processed and yet to type those digits in and charge the amount a second timeIt was not explained to me how such a mistake could occur, but again, they apologizedAs I stated in my complaint, I have lost faith that this company, has, or will deliver on the value of the $service(For ~minutes of service, at best, over apartments (with tenant indicating no improvement at this time), did I get value for this price?)I asked them to have the manager/owner call me back and again, I was left in waiting with no resonance that a manager or owner would follow through with the call (in fact I was left expecting that they would not).As I indicated in my original complaint, I have lost faith and trust in this company and was/am ultimately looking for a refundYesterday (after not hearing from anyone Monday or Tuesday), I called and left a message again, to politely demand a manager/owner call meToday I received a call from *** and I discussed the issues, and more polite apologies were givenI explained that numerous other quotes I had received were not as costly as theirs, and that one larger businesses quote was slightly higherI expressed from a customer point of view why I had serious concernsI have little to go on to express any faith that the 1st visit was done properlyConversely, I have numerous reasons to expect it was notWe have arranged for the follow up (10/5)I remain concerned*** has indicated their senior technician will perform the jobThe owner will accompany the technician on siteThey will call me when the service starts, and concludes, and provide a synopsisI anticipate if this occurs, then the report will be completed accurately and provided timely.Until results of this visit have concluded I cannot consider closure of this complaint
Regards,

*** spoke with *** and scheduled a follow up visit on 10/5/and during that visit the owner and most senior technician would be sent. They were instructed to call him upon arrival and again before departure to give full details of findings and services performedDuring this phone call it appeared all questions and concerns were answered and no need for further action

Since the time of filing of this complaint, we have spoken to Mr. [redacted] and have resolved the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience the credit card processing may have caused and if any bank related charges are applied, we will be happy to reimburse for those charges.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Hi,Thank you for your reply. There must be a communication problem - as we received a letter from the property manager stating in part: "The exterminator and myself (Building Manager) did mention to them that they need to keep their apartment a little cleaner..." The letter also implies that they (the building manager and the exterminator) were confident the problem was isolated to this apartment  - as the letter states there was no 'infestation' and the matter should be resolved with baiting and "cleaning the apartment". We don't know how anyone can conclude with certainty the problem is isolated to this apartment, especially considering where the rodent holes were located (one was located on a wall that adjoins another apartment), that same wall was where the bedbugs are. Very likely, the rodents and the bed bugs are in that wall, and there's a good chance spreading throughout the building. The hole in floor behind the bed was considerable in size and the rug was obviously damaged by rodent traffic. It's possible the building manager is misunderstanding the nature of the infestation. We were both at the inspection, [redacted] was their for the entire time and I, [redacted] for part of it. I've attached a pdf file of the letter from the property manager. Perhaps we are misunderstanding.
Regards,[redacted]

Our company was hired by the property management company to inspect unit #* located at [redacted] The complaint was that there was a rodent issue in this unit and that the company wanted us to come take care of the issue until the situation was solved. Upon...

arrival at the facility an exterior inspection was performed as well as an interior inspection to unit 3 and a basement. The property manager that met with our licensed technician indicated that their maintenance team had already inspected and sealed up entry areas that they found, of which some of the entry points were inside unit 3. During the time of our inspection the property manager and the female tenant were talking in another room about weather any other tenants had complained about rodent issues at this location (multi unit building). A minimal amount of mouse droppings were found in the unit and since the tenant stated that they were not staying in the unit it was told her that she should remove all perishable food items and that would include the opened and unopened bags of peanuts that were found in a hall closet. The technician that inspected the unit states she did not indicate or say that the unit was messy. The term "messy" was spoken by the tenant as she entered the unit after the property manager and our technician were already inside the unit and she said she knew the place was messy. Our company would not be in business today if our technicians went around telling customers how to keep their houses or apartments. It is our responsibility however to help educate customers when the situation calls for their participation to help correct a given situation. During the rodent inspection the technician did find bed bugs at the head of the bed when she was getting ready to place snap traps in the bedroom. As a courtesy the technician told the tenant that she found bed bugs and that it appears to be a new infestation(very early stages were seen) as that was the only room that she seen the bugs in. Our technician has five years experience and has been well trained in bed bug inspections as well as treatments.  Please accept our sincere apologies if [redacted] felt that our technician was disrespecting her in any way, [redacted] was not present during our inspection. We are well aware of how insects and rodents travel in multi unit residences.
