Review: A horse I bought February of 2015 from [redacted] became very unsafe and I was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a dislocated hip and a concussion. I loved my horse though and I spent countless amounts of money and time trying to fix his "issues". After a while I contacted Lynda and she said to bring him down and she would work on him for a while, in the mean time we would do a trial run with another horse. So we went down there and had a great time trying horses that were not even hers to trade out with.

We agreed on one to "try" and we went home. This mare was sent with papers that did not even match her markings or brand. It was apparent it would not work with me and the mare so I contacted Lynda to let her know. She claimed my horse was in Oregon at her brothers ranch and she could not get him back. Ok, so now I have a horse with fake papers and no bill of sale on. She has my horse that I hold the bill of sale on.

I refused to talk to her on the phone and sent everything through text. I have kept a copy of everything and fully intend on suing her for the cost of my horse that is now gone and all of the upkeep on the one that she essentially has abandoned. I cannot sell the mare as papered since the ones she provided are as fake as the tooth fairy and I am not even sure if legally I am able to sell her as she has yet to give me a bill of sale. Lucky for me I have everything in writing and can back up my story. I have given her multiple opportunities to rectify this situation, I am done. She is a thief and a liar. She takes you in and makes you think you are her best friend in the world all the while she is picking your back pocket. Wish I would have never met her.Desired Settlement: Refund for the money I have been out for the first horse I purchased as well as money I have been out for the horse she abandoned with me. Total approximately $7500.00. The horse she abandoned is being handed over to animal services within the next couple of days.

Review: [redacted] the owner at Good to be Horsey represented a horse had papers and was broke to ride with no issues. The proved to be sour as well as the history on the horse was invalid. Several attempts have been made to resolve the matter and [redacted] has not stood behind her representations.Desired Settlement: Refund and return of the animal

I am young lady who loves horses. [redacted] has taken the time to help me find the right horse for my dreams. I was timid, and not sure of what I wanted or was doing before I met [redacted]. That was over a year ago.
Today I am able to not only imagine doing something with my horse, but I have the courage to go out and do it. [redacted] is a great mentor. She helped me find the right horse, and then spent the time with me to make sure I was learning good equitation.
My dreams of barrel racing are going to be a reality this spring thanks to [redacted]'s dedication.

The team at Goodtobehorsey.com are first class. They made an indelible impression the moment we were introduced. The owner [redacted] is a class act. She clearly understands a potential clients needs before she will even engage in a conversation about any of her horses. No matter what. All of thepeople who work there have different backgrounds and skills. It is truly a one stop shop with a wealth expertise.
We came to look at a horse that was advertised on Equinenow.com My daughter is 13 years old and has been riding for quite a while. [redacted] and her crew found the perfect fit for her discipline and riding abilities. This was not the horse we came to see but even better for around the same price. We have had the horse for just about one year now and are extremely happy. There have been follow up phone calls just to see how she is doing and if we needed anything. Over all a first class experience that I would highly reccomend.

Review: I made an offer on a horse advertised by [redacted] as a registered Appendix Quarter Horse. I was assured by [redacted] that she was in possession of registration papers. At the start of the prepurchase veterinarian exam of the horse, the vet found a tattoo on the horse's gum indicating that it was a pure thoroughbred and not an Appendix Quarter Horse. When [redacted] was asked to produce the registration papers she could not. I stopped the exam and paid the vet a $115.00 ranch call. I did not want to buy a thoroughbred, nor did I want to buy a horse that had been misrepresented. I asked [redacted] to reimburse me the $115,00 vet fee. This was over a month ago and the fee has not been sent. The horse is currently being advertised on the GoodtobeHorsey website as throughbred with some famous racing horses in its line. (this in itself raises many questions as in her email to me [redacted] clearly states that [redacted] had been sold as of July 30th). I will also attach an email that I sent to [redacted] asking for the reimbursement and her reply which said she would do so, but also blamed me for the whole fiasco, saying I was unduly prejudiced against thoroughbreds.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the $115.00 vet fee I had to pay. I would never have even made an offer if I knew the horse was a pure thoroughbred.
