the worst builder experience ever
Stonebridge Villa

It's the worst builder experience ever.

So many things to mention here, it's incredible. From the initial production process, to move-in and after, it's been impossible to deal with these people. They always make excuses that make no sense. They talk 'down' to you like you are dumb to the building industry.
Craftsmanship is horrible. I'm re-doing many things after move-in because they are done sloppy. So many things were gone unnoticed and I had to point everything out to them. Work was done over and over again for the same issue. There is no accountability with the tradesmen, they do whatever they want with no apparent supervision.
They take shortcuts to save money, (24" on center studs, MDF baseboard instead of wood; we weren't told it would be MDF, 15A outlets on 20A circuits) all this to save a few dollars but overall, hundreds/thousands of houses, they save money.
2 months post closing, I being told to contact the warranty department for issues not resolved, that are mentioned as, 'not resolved' at closing.

This should give the readers of this review an idea of how it's been working with goodall. oh, yes, too many pictures to attach! Don't have the time.

Subpar builder
Goodall had problems from the beginning of the construction process, but there are two issues that stand out:
1. The awnings at the exterior doors on the backside of the building FELL OFF about a year after move-in.
2. They sold us assigned parking spots they had no right to sell us. The city verified they told Goodall during construction of the second building in our complex that there could be no markings on the street. That was a selling point...not having to fight for a parking spot.

Since our issues, they have passed the buck onto the HOA. That's another issue...no accountability.

Patterson Farms Gallatin TN
Our experience of the house we bought has been a nightmare. From flooded bathrooms, broken windows, chucks of cement left on front porch, seams splitting in corners of almost rooms, crack in shower floor and hole inside cabinet, light switches missing that we paid for in kitchen so we would not have to walk in hallway to turn kitchen pendent light on. I have over 60 videos and pictures and looking for others to start a class action lawsuit against them

+1

I spent about months looking for the perfect home in Franklin and just couldn't find ituntil I visited the Goodall model at Lockwood GlenI loved the community, floor plan, and the reputation of Goodall HomesThe process was so well defined and it took the anxiety out of a stressful timeThe builder and sales rep called me each week with updates on the progress which was informative and gave me the chance to ask questions along the wayI was given a closing date when I purchased the home and that is the date that I closedEveryone I met on the Goodall team was professional and they took so much pride in their jobsI have recommended them to many of my friendsCheck them out - you will not be disappointed!

We built our home in Stonebridge just over a year ago and we couldn't be happierMy wife and kids love the amenities and we all love how the neighborhood is maintainedIt always looks great and it makes us feel great when we drive inI'll never buy a used home again and Goodall will always be my first choice

I built my home with Goodall Homes in 2015. We closed and moved in at the end of October. They were very helpful and great to work with throughout the whole building process. We were so happy to find something new that was affordable in Franklin. I liked that I was able to have an appointment with someone at the design center to help me pick out colors and finishes. Our project manager emailed us weekly the updates of construction and sent us pictures of the home in the email. We were first time home buyers and were nervous but Goodall reassured us and helped us every step of the way. Before we moved in they showed us how to operate and maintenance everything in our home which was extra helpful to us coming from renting an apartment. Would highly recommend!
