Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2017/08/28) */ Hello, I am writing this in response to a customer complaint you receivedA couple weeks ago I posted a twin size bed set on a facebook garage sale site for [redacted] Shortly after I made the post I received a message from the customer saying that months ago in March she purchased a twin size bed for [redacted] and that I agreed to hold it for herI have never held anything for anyone longer than a few days, I need my small space for my constantly changing inventoryIn the messages she told me the reason she hadn't picked up the bed was because she had been in a serious accident but she told you it was because the weather had gotten so bad over the next couple monthsThis was in March at the end of a very mild winter, the weather was fineWe did not reply to her with an ugly message like she claimsIf you read the messages (which I will gladly email to you) you'll find it is much different than she explainsAlso we did not change the store name after she purchased the bed it was changed the September (months before her purchase) when my husband and I opened after another business in the same location closedA couple days later she called or store demanding we let her speak to corporate and refused to tell my husband the problemHe tried telling her we are a small business not a company she continued to be rude and not tell him anything so he eventually hung up on herShe called again, this time I answered, now she wanted to speak to the managerI explained that I am the owner and she then started telling the same storyI told her to file a police report and solve this legallyAfter that she called repeatedly, hanging up when we would answerThis woman is trying to use an old receipt to get money or a free bedPeople lie an scam all the time which is exactly what she is doingA bed is not the kind of thing you buy on umpulse, it is something you need, so if what she said is true when whoever she bought it for would have gone months without a bedI am sorry the customer is unhappy but I will not be scammedIf you want to discuss this further my number I (XXX) XXX-XXXX ask for [redacted] Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2017/08/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not as I have repeatedly tried to contact them regarding this situation and the Owners repeatedly yelled at myself and my daughter on the phoneI would just like to have my money back because as I have previously stated, I refuse to do business with this company any further as a result to thatI have provided my proof that I made payment for this bed set and just want my money back!
