Goodie Trash removal

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The company is not telling the truth as no supervisor came to my home nor did I speak to any supervisor at my homeYes I did replace my mail box after contacting the recycling companyThey never said anything about sending an investigator out or take any pictures of the damageI did not want my mail to stop being delivered as it is not easy for me to have to go to the post office every day and since the recycling company never said anything about a supervisor coming to my home I saw no reason not to replace the mail box and postOf course the truck drive will deny hitting my mail box that is no surpriseI suspect the mail box and post was hit while the truck was backing upIf my recycling was but out and the mail box was there and hours later the recycling was picked up and the mail box and post was gone that only leads to one conclusion.Regards, [redacted]

I am in receipt of your written notice regarding the complaintWe received an email from our Customer, Charles County Government for Recycling advising us that the resident stated that his mailbox was damaged on 10/17/He told the county that he had already replaced the mailbox.I sent our
supervisor out to look at the property and he also told our supervisor that he had replaced the poleMy supervisor took pictures of the new mailbox and there WAS NOT any tracks or anything to indicate that we had been on the property or caused any damageI personally called *** *** and inquired if he had witnessed our truck when they allegedly did the damage and he indicated that he did not see them do the damageI asked him if he had any knowledge of any witnesses who saw us do the damage and he indicated that he did notI also asked him why did he replace the mailbox prior to us having an opportunity to do our investigation and he said he did not want to miss any mailI then told him that I will speak with my crew since my supervisor had already been there and would call him back.| spoke with my driver and his helpers and they all denied that anything was hit on that day or that anything resembling a mailbox or post was thrown into the recycling truckI called the resident back and advised him that based on our investigation and his lack of proof that we did the damage, we were denying his claimI advised him if he received any additional information, we would consider reopening his claim.Goode Companies stand by our image and our nameWhen we cause damage, we try to do a thorough investigation on which the claim is accepted or deniedWe advised Charles County Government of our decision and if they thought we were in error, they would have made us reconsider the claim.Please let me know the outcome of your investigation into this complaint.Sincerely,Jackie B***Safety Manager

I did not want my mail to stop being delivered as it is not easy for me to have to go to the post office every day and since the recycling company never said anything about a supervisor coming to my home I saw no reason not to replace the mail box and post. Of course the truck drive will deny hitting my mail box that is no surprise. I suspect the mail box and post was hit while the truck was backing up. If my recycling was but out and the mail box was there and 2 hours later the recycling was picked up and the mail box and post was gone that only leads to one conclusion.Regards,
