Review: I purchased a vehicle from Goodman on 5/14/13 for $5000 cash. Took vehicle home and heard unusual noises. I contacted [redacted] the manager and salesmen at Goodman about my concern for my family's safety and that I only had place a few miles on the vehicle. After some time and informing him that I understood the law in this regard, [redacted] finally agreed to take the vehicle back and refund me the $5000. The next day I brought the vehicle back and had him sign for it. At that time he informed the owner, [redacted] was out of town and [redacted] did not have the money to repay me. [redacted] said the check was being cut by the dealership's account it Riverside and was being mailed to the dealership. I had him sign an agreement stating the money was to be refunded and would forth coming on 5/18/13. From there I was given multiple stories and finally went into the office on 5/24/13 to pick up the check. Unfortunately the check was post dated to 5/31/13. During this whole ordeal I had informed [redacted] and [redacted] that this was all the money I had to purchase a vehicle and I need one immediately. On top of that they were informed I was to be out of town starting on 5/24 and was purposely wanting to buy a vehicle to be able to use for this trip. Needless to say I had to rent a car ($155)and missed out on the opportunity to purchase a few vehicles during this time. Lastly, the day I was to take the check to the bank [redacted] called and ask me to come pick cash from the office. I told him to bring it to me. When [redacted] decided not to bring me the money. I placed the check in the bank and a 4 day hold was placed on it. So, in actuality I did not get my funds back for 3 weeks. Fortunately the check cleared today. My complaint is to make sure this is on record so that others do not have the same experience with these guys.Desired Settlement: If there was something to come of this, I'd request they pay for my rental car that I should not have needed to rent. $155. I do not know if the time lapse in the repayment in this case causes any other damages, but I did miss out on other vehicles that I was interested in... And to this day I do not have a new vehicle because the check just cleared.

Review: I called ** at good man auto center to ask him for the number to my insurance company I have the warranty with because the noise that I told him I heard when I first got the car came back even though they said they fixed it. ** said he didn't have the number when I know for a fact he does because I been in his office and seen he has a folder full of their cards with the number on it, and because he didn't want to give me the number I asked him if they could look at it and tell me whats wrong with it then ** said that the noise is all in my head and that there is nothing wrong with it, I feel that if I were a male customer telling him about the car he would have reacted differently but I know that I am a women but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about cars. while I was on the phone with him explaining the problem I wasn't sure if the phone was going in and out at first because I would hear the background then it would get silent so I would say hello when id hear the background go out and he wouldn't say anything then when I would hear the background again id say hello and he responded and I asked him if he was listening or putting the phone on mute and he responded and said well you talk a lot! and I explained to him that that wasn't very professional and that I was talking about my car they sold me and that that makes me a customer and that he should be willing to help his customers.my friend also does business with them and was having problems with her car she had informed me before she referred me that he liked her, after the incident she took her car in for whatever problems she was having and he told her that I was crazy and I really dont appreciate that because I have a mother who is actually mentally ill and I have always feared ending up that way and he has only made the feeling worseDesired Settlement: I really do not want to have to deal with that company any more. I feel if they don't want to help me as there customer I can take my business else where and I believe I shouldn't have been talked to or about that way.
