Even when you think everything is going well, because they asked you to sign all the final documents prior to closing, there is still the possibility that something will go wrong and that they can't close because you don't qualifyPlease keep reading A friend recommended this company to me because they were able to provide him with an acceptable response when he refinanced years agoHowever, in this case, we are extremely disappointedTo start with, we gave Good Mortgage all the documents they requested and they stated that there was a good chance in closing in less than a monthThey charged the application fees and the appraisalDuring a month long of exchanging email's and phone calls, in which they requested all sorts of documents and asked us to fax it to themSoon after, they called to inform we did not qualify for the loan because of our income and asked if my friend wanted to co-sign with us, which was honestly the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard After that, I spoke to one of their supervisors, who provided me with the same proposalI then asked him to send us a copy of the appraisal and he stated that he would do so immediatelyFour weeks have past and we have not received that document It seems that this company is going backward in communication and customer service That was a very bad experience for me and the friend that was helping us, especially so, because my spouse is suffering from an advance stage of [redacted] , better known as [redacted] I think they did all these just to collect the application and appraisal fees, because they knew firsthand that we didn't qualify One more thing, be careful with what you say over the phone, because they may record your conversations without requesting prior consent

I signed up for lending tree, and the following day I received numerous calls from different lenders I spoke to no other companies, becase this one was local, and the gentlemen I spoke with seemed to be genuine
We made an appointment to discuss everything The appointment was at 530, on a certain day He was to call me By 539, I had yet to receive a call So I called his extension and he seemed surprised until he must've looked at his calendar book, and said, "Yup 5:30, got it down right there."He then said, would say things "like we discussed", but I had yet to discuss anything with him Perhaps he had me confused with someone else? I don't know
He told me that If I filled out a form by that night, I would hear something more than likely by the following day Due to my schedule I was unable to do it that exact night So, the following day, early, I sent in the form he requested
Days and days went by I sent him an email telling him I had sent the form in He said thank you, "I'll send it ou Friday p.m."So about a week went by, I didn't hear anythingA yes, a no, not even a maybe as to whether or not we had been prequalied Left voicemail Kept getting emails, finally sent back a reply asking if the emails were automatic, because he hadn't tried to contact me
I called the general extension about a week ago, asking anyone from the company to call me (I was sensitive I didn't know If something had happened to the representative, or a family member of his) Never received a call from them either
I will say, that what time they gave customer service, it was nice I learned a few thingsI did have confidence that I was making a good choice
I don't know if I was declined for a pre qualification, or what That's the thing, I don't know anything, not even what I can do to better myself to be eligible
I'm a first time home buyer that needed guidance, and I am sad to say what looked promising with this company, turned out to be a waste of my time

A friend recommended this company to me because they were able to provide him with an acceptable response when he refinanced 3 years ago. However, in this case, we are extremely disappointed. To start with, we gave Good Mortgage all the documents they requested and they stated that there was a good chance in closing in less than a month. They charged the application fees and the appraisal. During a month long of exchanging email's and phone calls, in which they requested all sorts of documents and asked us to fax it to them. Soon after, they called to inform we did not qualify for the loan because of our income and asked if my friend wanted to co-sign with us, which was honestly the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard.
After that, I spoke to one of their supervisors, who provided me with the same proposal. I then asked him to send us a copy of the appraisal and he stated that he would do so immediately. Four weeks have past and we have not received that document.
It seems that this company is going backward in communication and customer service.
That was a very bad experience for me and the friend that was helping us, especially so, because my spouse is suffering from an advance stage of [redacted], better known as [redacted]
I think they did all these just to collect the application and appraisal fees, because they knew firsthand that we didn't qualify.
One more thing, be careful with what you say over the phone, because they may record your conversations without requesting prior consent.
