This is in regards to complaint #XXXXXXX.

evenings/weekends as I was employed full time with another company. I started doing side jobs for these individuals in late 2014 and ended around March/early April 2015.
Payment from this individual was only provided when jobs were complete and to the satisfaction of the individual. If the work performed was not up to their expectations, why was money rendered?
Individual did provide me with her Lowe's credit card to purchase materials for her home. Each purchase the individual was notified. I also provided receipts of these purchases and also sat down with individual to go over statements etc. It was impossible to make contact with individual so a lot of the contact with done via her sister who on many occasions was present when purchases were made. Individual has all receipts for purchases made.
I also never told individual I would reimburse her any money especially $3800 as I am still owed about $4500 in labor.
As far as the toilet, the toilet was all ready broke before removal and the individual was notified of this. Again, most contact had to go between myself and her sister as individual would never respond to my calls and/or text messages.
The security system issue was a sensor on the door that I had replaced. I told sister that that sensor was removed to replace the door frame. The sister was notified of this.
The reason this individual and her sister are causing such an issue is that I was working on the sisters den at her home. I had remodeled her den and was coming back to mortar the tile on the floor. When I arrived at the home the smell of dog feces, cat feces and urine about knocked you over at the door. I went to the den to begin work and there were about 15 piles of diarrhea from the dog all over the unfinished tile floor. I notified the sister that I would not be doing any work until the mess was cleaned up. The sister became irate and told me not to come back. This is when all the problems began. The individuals home is the same way. I had installed some shelving in her home. I had painted them and told her not to let her cats out due to the paint being wet. I came back and there were paw prints dried in the paint which had to be re-sanded and painted. My wife was present for this. She can also verify that individual was pleased with the shelving. Wife asked if there was anything that she felt anything else needed to be done and individual said no, they are perfect and she loved them.
I also found out that these two individuals have done the same thing to another contractor. He had done work for them as well and they ran his name in the ground. I understand now why he never came back.
I never "took" anything from either of there homes. I would have no reason too. I have received threats from this individual. I was unable to come back to complete the work I started as they told me not to step foot on their property. All work would have been completed had the dog feces issue would not have happened.
I did a lot of work for this individual and her sister and was not paid for about $4500 in labor for the den area for the sister and again was not able to finish projects due to threats.
I want all contractors/handymen to be aware of these people. I also want Goodrich Construction Custom Decks to be removed from this complaint as Goodrich Construction Custom Decks did not do any work for these individuals.
Again, I never "took" anything from these people. The individuals home is comparable to a hoarders home so the items in questions are probably buried among all the other piles of stuff in her home.
I want this issue resolve and have them stop trying to ruin the name of Goodrich Construction Custom Decks.
