I'm a homeowner of a property managed by GoProperty Management. I have asked on 7 different occasions since November 2019, to examine the books and records of the organization pertaining to my property. In the Declarations page of the HOA, it states "any Mortgagee has the right to examine, during normal business hours, the books and records of the Association.

All of my request have been sent to the owner and contact person of GoProperty Management. There have been zero responses back.

I did receive an email that I needed a lawyer to examine meeting notes from a prior year. No where in the Declarations of the property does it say I need legal representation. I don't have, nor have I had in the past, a lawyer to address my concerns with this property.

Desired Outcome

Contact by the Business For GoProperty to adhere to their own Declaration rights to Mortgagees. A meeting to address financial concerns to be scheduled in a reasonable period of time by both parties. Since I have ALS, I will also need a reasonable accommodation so my voice can be heard. This request will be made when I hear back from GoProperty.

This owner of a unit in an HOA we manage has made his complaint aware to us and we have responded to him in great detail, many, many times. Essentially he disagrees that he owes one months dues but we have provided him with his owner account history where it very clearly shows that he missed his August, 2019 dues payment. He points to two payments made in August but as we've pointed out, one of those went to a missed July payment. Further, wee have stated to him that if he has proof of a payment made that we are not showing on his account history, all he has to do is send us a copy of the check and we will of course research it. Perhaps the bank applied it to the wrong account or even the wrong HOA. He has not send us any sort of documentation and of course we cannot give him credit for a payment we have no record of.

To be clear, a meeting was requested to review the financials of the property. Not, and I repeat not, does this complaint indicate an issue with a payment. Their bylaws clearly state, as I stated in first complaint, that any tenant has the right to review the financials. That is all I have asked since November 2019. So I ask the HOA to respond to my actual complaint that I have emailed since November. A meeting to review the financials of the property. Thank you.

Our office is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus and all employees are working from home. If the owner wants to request financial reports, glad to provide over email, just need to know which reports they would like.

The response is unsatisfactory. The owner, ***, refuses to acknowledge completely disregarding his company's obligation to meet with any homeowner in a reasonable period of time to review financials. This is in the ByLaws of the community HOA.

I had emailed the owner, ***, numerous times to meet and review income statements and balance sheet. This was back in November 2019. Owner on multiple occasions didn't acknowledge emails. 5 emails in total dated as early back as November 2019. Last one was late February 2020.

Due to the coronavirus, a meeting now isn't obviously acceptable. The Board of my property also changed management properties effective 4/1/2020.

This consumer would like it to be noted that the owner refused multiple requests and violated ByLaws of the property. There isn't any other action that is appropriate.
