Gordon Biersch Brewery

I bought 3-$100.00 gift cards from Gordon Biersch in Virginia Beach for Christimas 2019 for family members. In February our Gordon Biersch in Virginia Beach Abruptly closed...I called the then corporate office, gave them the gift card numbers and was told I would receive the $300.00... Well that never happened...I called the corporate office again and listened to the message that Gordon Biersch had been sold to SPB hospitality...I called that number and get a recording that says you can leave a message but does not let you...I have emailed, mailed, called numerous times...THEY ARE AVOIDING THIS...I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Review: I paid for my meal using my MasterCard credit card. The server applied a $10 gratuity to my total charge without my authorization (I left a gratuity in cash and drew a line through the space on the invoice allotted for a tip). I noticed the improper charge on my account billing statement three days later. I then called the restaurant and was told that this charge was made due to the employee erroneously charging/confusing the checks he had for various tables. The amount that was improperly charged to my credit card was the EXACT amount that I had left as a tip in cash.Desired Settlement: Acknowledgement that this type of activity is deceptive, unacceptable, and assurances that it will be monitored and prevented in the future

Review: Recieved a gordon biersch gift card. It had nothing written on it stating that it was not valid at all locations. The gordon biersch restaurant did not take the gift card stating that they were not a "normal" gordon biersch location. There was no way to know this ahead of time and I otherwise would not have chosen this restaurant without the gift card. I believe this constitutes a scam and false advertising.Desired Settlement: My meal balance should be refunded
