Gordon, Stockman & Waegh Reviews (1)

We are currently sending back a check for half of the cost as the customer agreed upon phone conversation 8/01/10:AMWe try our very best to treat our customers well! I still believe that there is a problem with an open splice somewhere buriedI explained this to the customer.
The wiring was outdated, a mixture of BX wire, Romex and knob & tube wiringAfter my troubleshooting for an hour and a half it was also determined that there were other code violations which needed to be addressed. While troubleshooting I was in the supposed junction box where the other electrician located a problem. At this junction box when I was checking it there was proper voltage in and out. I then traced the wire to the next location where I identified that the type of wire had changed from romex to BXThis told me that me that I was missing something, from my experience in the past that told me there was a buried splice. I then explained to his partner that the proper way to repair this scenario was to rewire the sections of the overloaded circuit and in order to do this it would take adding additional circuits and rewiring those sections to the latest National Electric Code requirements. I still firmly believe that there is still a problem with circuit which will arise againAs per his partners request I sent out an estimate for the repairs
