Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint I feel this matter will not be resolved until I have my money back! I don't care of the rules the policy or their trained staff! I was told by their people that since my family didn't compete I was entitled to a refund!!! what gives this company the right to just keep someones money??? they say they will keep it on file and we can use it again NO! I want nothing ever to do with this scam of a business!!! they steal peoples money they rip people off and they have advertisement!!! I have read numerous complaints such as mine and its awful people are like this and do this to innocent familiesI have been speaking with an attorney and I have my records and receipts revolving this case and I have a case I was just hoping after years I would have my money back! so I came to the Revdex.com to see what action needs to be taken nextI notice im not the only one this has happened to! it has been done to a lot of people from NAM:( [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards,

We are sorry that Ms [redacted] does not agree with the written rules and regulations We fully train our staff of presenters and administrative helpers for the Open Call and Training Sessions These are people that have been with us for several years, most of whom competed with NAM until they aged out of competition They know personally what the rules and regulations are and they are trained by our National Office before they begin presenting at Open Calls.I cannot address the items that Ms [redacted] stated as I was not there but we do know our staff and how they are trainedSincerely,Fidelia G [redacted] National Office ManagerNational American Miss

Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for alerting us to this complaint. We have located the email originally sent by this consumer on May 22, 2016, and are responding to her now as per our standard process, which is to provide one coupon. In addition, because of the unfortunate delay in replying to her
email, which is not up to our usual standards of quality, we will include one full value coupon in good faith. However, we have to reject the demand for full-value replacement coupons, as that would be far above any reasonable claim Thank you, Gorton’s Consumer Services Tell us why here

[A simple replacement coupon would have been fine had they addressed my concern and missing product to start with, however my email was ignored and I never received a reply! That is unacceptable business practiceNow I have had to waste more time filing the Revdex.com claim, and again, writing more nowI expect to receive the replacement coupons as compensation for the mistreatment received being ignored and hoping a slighted customer would "just go away".]

[Gorton's is providing a run-around nowHad they responded in a timely fashion to start with, or replacement coupons would have certinaly sufficedBut after clearly ignoring the contact form submitted on their site, I then proceeded to open the case with Revdex.comONLY THEN did they suddenly reply, (how convenient) but the compensation for my time and being abused as a customer is not being metI expect to see product replacement coupons arriving in the mail for me and to remedy this cheat-the-customer-and-hope-they-don't notice experienceIf they don't meet these demands, than I will spread the word, warning other consumers to carefully count their products since this is the Gorton's cheating methodApparently there's no longer a way to "trust the Gorton's fisherman.".]

National American Miss has a no refund policy in writing. It does state without exception, however we do try to work with our families. The *** family did place $on account that is non-refundable. The attached application shows the signature of *** *** right below
the single bolded line that asks for them to read the NAM Rules and Regulation on the reverse (back) of the applications. I have also included the back side copy of the rules. In addition to this applications, we send home a Magazine #that has the no refund policy in the Sponsor fee section and when she was actually accepted to be with us, the acceptance packet that we mail to the family has sponsor brochures that also state that the fees placed on account are non refundable. This is all complete before any fees were placed on account for the *** family. When it was brought to our attention that the *** Family was not able to continue to participate, we let them know that NAM as a courtesy would freeze their account and allow them to use the full fees for the next year's program.So in conclusion, our national policy regarding no refunds of fees on account still stands. Dear Revdex.com,   We apologize for the delay in our response to the consumer, this does not reflect our usual concern for our consumers.  We are disappointed to learn that our product did not meet with her expectations, and we have shared your comments with those responsible for Quality at Gorton’s.    We employ a highly automated procedure to fill and seal our packages so that each contains the weight stated on the label.  However, because of natural fluctuations in the weight of the raw materials, it is sometimes possible for a consumer to receive the stated package weight, but with more or fewer than the number of pieces specified on the packaging.   Consumer satisfaction is important to us. As a gesture of goodwill we have sent two full value coupons good towards the purchase of any Gorton's product. We hope this will be satisfactory.   Thank you for reaching out to us.
