This is a follow-up to our previous conversation in relation to Complaint #[redacted]. The consumer claimed that egg shells were found in the Gorton’s product that his[redacted]-year old son consumed.

Food Safety and quality are of highest importance to Gorton’s and we take all consumer inquiries seriously. Our production facility has a single allergen profile which does not include egg or egg products. Therefore, we do not feel as if the alleged foreign material (egg shells) originated from us.
