I am rejecting this response because:I do not wish to do business with your company more than I have to which will be for the oil changes even then I do not want to go there because I do not believe that you will honor your word of the FULL synthetic oil Main reason being in my complaint you are the same Isreal that told me that my Dad and I misunderstood the guy that told us we would get GMPP and told me I would have to pay a prorate on the warranty to cancel when it hasn't even been in use yet due to the car still being under MFG warranty Secondly, most dealerships offer a free wash with service and I would spend more in gas driving miles round trip to get the car washed at your dealership than if I wash it myselfLastly, I understand that you are offering to rotate my tires for freeHowever, my Dad and I were there for the oil change in 02/04/and your service department told us that due to the different sizes of tires you do not rotate the tires on this vehicle and it was not a misunderstanding that is exactly what your service department said I don't trust your employees so I always make sure to bring a witness when I talk to your companyI did see on your website that it has the situation of the tires being different sizes and rotating side to side but due to the knowledge or lack there of by your service department I don't believe they will do the job correctly

Hello, my name is Israel Mora, General Manager for Gosch ChevroletI apologize for the confusion and continued unfortunate circumstances on this particular dealWe have recently gone through a management change in service, and unfortunately there have been some missed processes in the service departmentDue to this inconvenience I am willing to make sure that you receive the FULL Synthetic oil changes(which is outside of our policy) for the life of your ownership of the this vehicle in our service departmentUnfortunately, I have no authority to give anything free at other dealerships, but I will make sure that you ONLY deal with our current service manager, Eric Rumsower, so that this type of incident never happens againI will also offer to rotate your tires and wash your car at any request during the lifetime of your ownership with the vehicle. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Eric or myself at ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:
Because before Gosh Auto "repaired" this vehicle, I did not have ANY ISSUES with the theromostatI brought in the car because of the "Check Engine" light that came onIt was because of Tammy at Royality Auto Repair that I found out that the thermostat had failed and that is what caused the fan to stop workingIn addition, it is Gosh Auto Service responsibility to check ALL aspects of the cooling systemNot just the part that threw a codeThey failed to perform a complete and proper diagnostic on the carIf they had done that, they would have found that the fan was not working. I will be taking this issue to court

Dear ***-After reviewing the repair order 5106040, we performed a
thermostat replacement due to a diagnostic trouble code(P01228) set in the
electronic control module(ECM).The total cost for this repair was $The
remained balance of $was for an Oil Change, Brake Job with
fluid
exchange, Coolant System flush, Clean the Throttle Body and air intake, Power
Steering Fluid Exchange, Transmission fluid exchange, and Tune upThese were
all maintenance items the vehicle needed due to time and or mileageThese
repairs were performed on 1/10/On 3/02/the vehicle returned to our
dealership to have an oil change performedThe vehicle had traveled miles
with no problemsDuring our multi point inspection performed at that time
showed no concern with the cooling system
The vehicle then
traveled another miles to Las Vegas where on 3/31/the owner of the
vehicle had it towed to a repair facility (Royal Automotive)According to the
invoice from Royal Auto #the customer states that the "engine temp
was greater than operating temp"Upon calling and speaking to
Tammie, at Royal Auto in Las Vegas, she stated that a cooling fan had failed as
well as the thermostat gasket & thermostat. The repair that the customer is referring to was not caused by Gosch Chevroletit appears to simply be a failed component on her year old vehicle

***, Unfortunately, this customer purchased a vehicle with 140,miles on itOur warranties are VERY specific as to the time and components that are coveredThis particular vehicle came with a month or mile engine warranty Very shortly after the vehicle was purchased,
the customer stated that the fuel gauge was not working properlyHe brought the vehicle in, and we happily fixed this issue for him, even though it is not a covered component for the warranty that he has. At that time, the only code that came up on the diagnostic was PO461, and no other code was givenThis code was connected to the fuel gauge only, and there were no other problems being reported The customer has since never brought the vehicle into our service department, and we have no records of the maintenance performedUnfortunately, our warranties on a vehicle with that many miles is specific and limited as far as time and mileageAs you can see, the covered time has expired in terms of the engine. The vehicle does not show to be currently in our service department, and I cannot confirm the cost to repair the vehicleI am, however, happy to speak with the customer and see if the vehicle can be repaired for a lesser amountI will not, however, be able to cover the entire cost of the repair My number is ###-###-#### Thanks, *** C*** Operations Manager Gosch Chevrolet

***-The cooling system was
operating as designed on both service visitsThere is no way to perform a
diagnosis on a component if it is operating as designed at the time of
inspection. If the fan was not working
when we performed the original repair on the vehicle it would have over heated
at that timeIf the cooling fan was not working when we performed the oil
change on the second visit the vehicle would have been overheating and would
have never been able to make the trip to Las VegasThe vehicle would have over
heated on the way
The Cooling fan is
an electrical deviceThe thermostat utilizes a
temperature sensitive wax-pellet element
When a cooling fan fails, it causes the vehicle to run hotter
than it normally does and even can cause it to over heatThis causes pressure
to increase in the cooling systemThe job of the thermostat is to open &
close to allow the engine to maintain a consistent operating temperature
Therefore, it is our
position that there was no way to foresee the cooling fan failure and
subsequent thermostat gasket failure due to excessive build up of pressure.Let us know if she needs instructions to file a Small Claims caseWe will see her in court.***

Ok. Well the offer still stands.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2015/07/31) */
[redacted],
Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately, the complaints that have been made are false. This deal was never to be a finance deal. In fact the customer wrote us a check for the total amount, and asked us to hold it as the funds in his...

bank account were being held. He showed us proof of the funds, but that they were on a hold due to his bank guidelines. He asked us to please hold the check so that he would not incur any additional fees. We did so as a goodwill to the customer, and as per our policy wrote the contract on an option contract to cash.
After extending the time for the total payment at the customer's requests, the customer began to tell us that he now did NOT have the funds, and that he wasn't going to be able to pay cash for the vehicle. We offered other financing alternatives that the customer did not accept, and he returned the vehicle as agreed. We, at that point, considered the matter closed, and that is still our position.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:I do not wish to do business with your company more than I have to which will be for the oil changes even then I do not want to go there because I do not believe that you will honor your word of the FULL synthetic oil.  Main reason being in my complaint you are the same Isreal that told me that my Dad and I misunderstood the guy that told us we would get GMPP and told me I would have to pay a prorate on the warranty to cancel when it hasn't even been in use yet due to the car still being under MFG warranty.  Secondly, most dealerships offer a free wash with service and I would spend more in gas driving 70 miles round trip to get the car washed at your dealership than if I wash it myself. Lastly, I understand that you are offering to rotate my tires for free. However, my Dad and I were there for the oil change in 02/04/2017 and your service department told us that due to the different sizes of tires you do not rotate the tires on this vehicle and it was not a misunderstanding that is exactly what your service department said.  I don't trust your employees so I always make sure to bring a witness when I talk to your company. I did see on your website that it has the situation of the tires being different sizes and rotating side to side but due to the knowledge or lack there of by your service department I don't believe they will do the job correctly.
