I received the first notification from Revdex.com on 8-28-from our Marion American Health Network office where the complaint letter was incorrectly sent by the Revdex.com_ I also received a telephone message from *** of the Revdex.com on the same
day minutes after received the email with the attached Revdex.com letter from the Marion officeEvidently tho Revdex.com sent first letter on 8-1-17, but that letter I have never received
Now that I have had at least hours from the time I received complaint fetter and telephone call to research the matter, I feel I can respond
The patient has a legitimate complaint in that his insurance Ca resource HIP was in network with us and due to a clerical error at our Indianapolis headquarters, his insurance was inadvertently dropped from being in networkThe patient was apprised of this on the day of his office visit and lab drawThe patient opted to proceed with the visitDue to the fact that our AHN office Indianapolis made the error and it takes an inordinate amount of time to get the insurance carriers to change the status of a physician as to being in network, we opted to write off the patient balance owed on the visit and lab chargesPatient was notified of sameWe have sent the change order to the caresouree HIP at least times and as of yet, is not corrected
We have done what we can as a company to make certain the patient is confident in services offered by American HeaItn Network but unfortunately we cannot make the insurance carriers move as fast as we would like to correct the status of "in" versus "out of network",
