Review: More than 4 months ago I began preparing for a solo violin audition to my local symphony here in La Plata County. I ordered two (NICE) sets of violin strings from GoStrings from my desktop computer and paid for them with my Choice Visa credit card. I also bought a new violin case at the same time, which did eventually arrive, I believe from London. It's nice. I used the same credit card, the very same day. After charging me for the strings, GoStrings never produced them. I continued to order them, over and over, with nasty notes about fraud, and using the same credit card, to no avail, and they're only response (is) "We are changing operating systems. It may take a week to process your order. At that time your credit card will be charged." WHAT LIARS!!!! I have now since read reviews about this company. I am NOT THE ONLY ONE!!!! Please STOP these people. I have tried everything. Even ordering the two sets of strings separately. I always use the same credit card. What seems funny is not funny anymore.Desired Settlement: I want my TIME back. Every week I have gone after these people. They picked the wrong violinist to fraud. I am getting too stressed out about this.

Review: My son, ordered violin strings and rosin in an order totaling $101.24 on May [redacted]. He did not receive the items and never received a shipping notification. He requested a refund to his debit card on 6/** but Go strings did not respond. We tried to call them several times, but their voice mailbox is always full. They did not respond to emails or refund his money or ship the merchandise.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of the full amount. A credit to the card he used to make the order.

Review: I ordered an electric cello and a number of accompanying accessories from GoStrings.com on March[redacted] 2013 with a total purchase of $1,712.80. As of July **, 2013 I have not received all of the products I purchased, only 3 of the 8 items were received. The most expensive purchase including an electric cello with a cost of over $1,000 USD along with a number of other items have not been received. I have phoned numerous times and left voice messages as well as sent numerous email messages but have not received a response from GoStrings.com in 4 months with a reasonable explanation. I have been charged for the total but the electric cello along with a number of other items have not been delivered. I live in [redacted] and need help making GoStrings.com accountable for the irresponsible business practice and negligence on the tracking of my purchase.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my GoStrings order-[redacted], including an electric cello and all other items in my order.

Review: On May [redacted] 2013 I ordered 3 strings for my Viola from Go strings to be shipped by domestic mail. On there web site they state it takes 4-5 business days to receive. I received a confirmation email that my order had been placed and the $83.50 had been deducted from my account. A week had passed and I sent an email to go strings regarding my order with no reply. I called a day or two later and left a voice mail regarding my strings. Only then did I finallyl get an extremely nonchalant response via email saying " We will look into it". Another week had passed still with now information regarding my strings so I emailed again with no response. I called the number listed online to contact them to speak with someone verbally but the voicemail is constantly full.so once again I emailed again with no avail. I ordered the strings for a very important concert I had on 6/**/13 and unfortunately my viola wasn't at its best for that important performance. It has been over a month nearly almost 2 months & I haven't heard anything from go strings at all. However they definitely took my $83.50 real quick!!! They are robbing people literally and need to be shut down. They had plenty of time to work things out civilly with me but decided not to. I can't believe its so easy for a business to steel from consumers. This was literally throwing my money in the wind *Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my viola strings that I ordered and/or a complete refund to my debit card of $83.50 which they deducted from my account.

Review: Order placed online with Go Strings on 2/**/13 was paid for by credit card on same date and product still has not been delivered. Numerous calls and emails have been made and there has been little to no response from the company.Desired Settlement: I would prefer immediate delivery of the ordered item, if that is not possible a full refund would be acceptable to me. An apology would be nice but, based on the lack of communication thus far, is not expected.

Review: My wife made and paid for an on line order dated ** may 2013 totalling $185.03. We have not yet received this order. I have emailed the company 3 times with no response , phoned numerous times with no response. I went to their office in NYC twice in last 3 weeks there was no one there.I have a print out of the order and receipt.Desired Settlement: I would either like the items that we ordered or a full refund of $185.03.

Review: I purchased a violin case from them and the order was placed on 3/**. I received the item but it didn't meet my expectations, so I returned it within the timeframe of the company's refund policy notice. On May [redacted], they responded with an email saying they had received my returned item. Their system does not save your information credit card info, so I told them to call me. Sometime in late May the manager called me and I exchanged my info, and he said, " I will try to refund that amount of $219 before today." However, he never did, and I've been patiently waiting for my refund. It's been nearly 2 months and I've contacted them via phone and email countless number of times, but their business voicemail is full of message and no one has gotten back to me via email .Desired Settlement: Gostrings needs to refund the amount of 219$ for order [redacted] to me asap!

Review: I ordered a Bam Highteck 2.9 slim cello case (order # gostrings-[redacted]) on November **, 2012. I was told then that it could take 3 months for delivery. I was contacted on April ** 2013 that they had produced the case in the wrong color and would I want to wait for the correct color. I agreed to wait. I have not heard since. I contacted Gostrings twice via e-mail but received no answer. I tried contacting them by phone but get a message that the mailbox is full and nobody answers the phone.Desired Settlement: I would very much like to get thecase but if I cannot get in touch with them to find out if this will ever happen I have to suspect that this is a fraud and want my money ($1948.60) back.

Review: In January, 2013, I ordered (order #[redacted]) a custom violin case from this company. I was told that the cost of the case was $749, which included shipping I was told it was going to be custom made in Italy and that it would take 3-6 months for delivery. In May, 2013, after repeated attempts to contact this company regarding the status of my order, I received one email response saying they expected a shipment from the manufacturer within a few weeks and that they would let me know if my case was part of it. I never received a response, and further attempts to contact the company have been unsuccessful. Since the six month delivery period had passed, I recently sent them one last email requesting a refund. Again, no response.Desired Settlement: Full refund to my credit card of the $749 charged for this item, without them charging me the 3% refund fee they mention on their website.

Review: April **, 2013 I ordered a set of viola strings--order #[redacted], for the amount of $89.95 via Pay Pal. The charge was processed immediately. The "status" indication process never proceeded, nor has the product arrived in some 10 weeks now. There has been no response to the several emails I have sent. When I have called, I get only a "voice mail box is full" message.Desired Settlement: I would like to see GoStrings.com operate within basic business practices and ethics. I would like to know what happened to my money. I would like to know why they are not able to fill and deliver my order. I would like to know why GoStrings.com would not respond to my inquiries or communicate with me about any complications or delays.

Review: Gostrings failed to deliver products and would not provide updates as to why they were not shipped, though they had charged my card within 24 hours of the purchase. They failed to respond to my emails until I left a voicemail, after which they sent an email informing me that they would look into it. I have not heard from them since then. I have requested a refund numerous times in emails and the voicemail and they have failed to do so.Desired Settlement: Refund the money charged to my card.

Review: After placing an order on [redacted] of March 2013 (!) for violin strings and paying $153.09, I have tried to contact on 16 occasions by email, phone or via third party.

I never received my order or a response to my complaint.Desired Settlement: A refund OR finally the settlement of the placed order. Please.

Review: I ordered a set of strings on Feb *, 2013. they said it was shipped, but it never arrived, and no tracking number. I contacted them, they said they would re-ship, with a tracking number. Nothing. Many emails, mostly unanswered. In May, someone called, asked for my order number, said they would send my strings. Nothing since then. No answers to many emails. No room left to leave phone messages.Desired Settlement: I am out $79.67, and I would like it returned. I paid via Paypal, using my bank account. I do NOT want store credit, obviously.

Review: I ordered a set of music books on April [redacted], 2018 online via their website and haven't received them so far. The seller has been completely unresponsive (I have sent three emails since beginning of June), except for the initial email confirming delivery method soon after the order was placed.Desired Settlement: A refund or have the books sent ASAP.

Review: On the [redacted] of February I bought 2 sets of Larsen Cello Soloist strings (A, D, and G) and 2 sets of Larsen Tungsten Cello (C string), order number [redacted]. I have sent several emails and made numerous follow-up phone calls. After their only email telling me that my order has been shipped on the [redacted] of April, I have not received a single reply since then and still have not received my products. The phone calls proved to be useless as one of the numbers was their rental department who directed me to their internet customer service number which went straight to voicemail.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a full refund of the amount (USD $565.76) to my credit card, American Express.

Review: My order # is [redacted] and was placed in February. I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks. Sometimes they do not respond to email, which has resulted in me making a couple of visits to their office. When I have threatened to cancel the order, they tell me it will come soon, but will not give me a date. This has happened more than once. The staff at Gostrings blames the distributer. The last email I got from them in May states that they hope I will receive my violin case sometime in June. They have not responded to any of my recent emails and this is an expensive order.Desired Settlement: Please provide me with my order by the end of June. If Gostrings cannot do that, please refund all of my money, without the penalty which is on their website.
