Review: my house is for sale so I needed help cleaning. paid $24 an hour for 3 hours and in that time the cleaner did not even finish cleaning 2 small bathrooms and my small kitchen. on top of that I had to go back and RECLEAN everything.She did not clean the outside of my toilets or the floors and told me "its not hard. you just do this, here." In the kitchen she cleaned the stove top, but not the inside of my oven, used a Brillo pad on my microwave and SCRATCHED it up. There are still oil splatters on the underside of my microwave as well. My house is relatively small and I can clean the entire house in the amount of time she was here. I called the company and they told me they could do nothing, that their workers were really independent contractors, continually interrupted me, and offered me a measly 6 dollar refund because the cleaner also lied about her length of time at my home! I sent the office pictures of my microwave and told them that the cleaner told me she used a brillo pad and sponge and that must have scratched it. They acknowledged they were the reason and acknowledged that the scratches are permanent, but when I told the gal in the office that I wanted them to pay for my ruined microwave that I purchased in may of 2014, they stopped responding. So I inquired with the office gal about why I never heard back, and she responded that the cleaner would contact me, however that has not happened as of yet.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay for the cost of my microwave so that I may purchase a replacement and have it installed as mine was only a year old and now it looks awful and my house is for sale!

I appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint from [redacted]. These are the facts: 1) [redacted] did not schedule the cleaning with Got It Maid. It was set up by her mother, Kathy. The work order, specifically was for the minimum 3 hour service using the customers supplies. This is the purchase of time without regard to condition and "to-do" list of the home upon entering. 2) We are a domestic referral agency and our business model is pricing by the hour not by the job. More hours could have been scheduled for another day upon request. 3) Time In/Out. Housecleaner Alexis 12:55-4:15. 3 hours 20 minutes. Client 1:05-3:50. 2 hours 45 minutes. This difference is equal to 3 hours. Client did not dispute this at end of service and wrote a check for 3 hours $72. 4) Condition. Housecleaner evaluation: Very Dirty. Build up of soap, dirt, waterspots in bathrooms. Heavy cooked on grease in kitchen, stove and microwave above stove. Required lots of time in shower and toilets with heavy water spots. Pumice stone was required to bring toilets to normal condition. Toilets cleaned inside and out. We cannot comment for toilet use after our cleaning. 4) The housecleaner Alexis was in contract with the client regarding the microwave. Discussions ceased when stop payments were made. Conclusion: Based on the above facts and charges for stop payments, the client did not go forth in good faith to resolve the complaint. There were 2 check $72.00 for labor and a check to Alexis personally for $8 tip. The stop payments including bank fees totaled $138. The $6.00 time reimbursement from Got It Maid was way more than satisfied. The client has Alexis contact numbers,
