This customer is scheduled to pick up his new Avalon Pontoon boat as soon as his financing goes through All is going fine between Got Water Marine and this customer There has been no mention of any refunds at this time We have read recent posts on the internet from this customer stating his and his family's' excitement on the delivery of their new Avalon Pontoon Thank you for the opportunity for our response to this situation Sincerely - *** at Got Water Marine

We had the mis-fortune of dealing with this dealership for the order our new Pontoon boatWasted months of our timeThey agreed to sell us a boat at a certain price (with a signed purchase order), then when it came time to take delivery, they refused to sell us the boatOnly after ofcourse we obtained the financing, signed the loan docs, purchased the Insurance, and sent deposits to other vendorsVERY long story, but do yourself a favor and buy a boat from a differnt dealershipLook into the [redacted]  dealer in Madera CA, they are 100X more ethical then these people out in Lake Havasu !

The statements from Mr*** are simply rhetoric and completely false. I do not have the time or energy to dwell on this matter any further. Simply stated, Mr*** asked for his $deposit to be returned (you have record of this) as a means to end the contractual obligations for both parties. On Sept18, my *** drafted a letter to him stating we would return the deposit and both parties agree to end the transaction; by signing Mr*** agreed. We *** the check to him on Sept19th of which he cashed on Sept23, 2014. Based on his actions throughout this business transaction, in the end I made a decision not to do business with Mr***. As far as we are concerned, this transaction is over, and we are moving forward.Sincerely,*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Hello [redacted]. Attached is the Sighed purchased order from [redacted] at Got Water Marine. We agree'd to a price of $52,250.00 plus normal tax and Lic fee's. Then before the boat was scheduled to be built, per the information the owner of Got Water told us ([redacted]). My wife asked about some different flooring options. [redacted]/Owner said he would contact the manufacture if it could be done and check on the pricing. At that point he said the boat was scheduled to be built in 3 days to a week away. The very next day, [redacted] sent over a revised purchase order with an additional $2500.00 in flooring expense. I called within seconds of recieving his email, and stated I was not interested in paying any more then the agreed upon $52,250.00. He then stated it was too late, for the boat was done being built ???? Done being built from the time we spoke the day before, less then 24 hours ago? Fast forward, I stated he had changed the order with the manufacture without getting any price changes approved by the buyer, verbal or written. I gave him the opportunity to re-order the boat how we have a signed purchase for. He stated he didnt want to sit on this inventory over the winter, and would sell us the boat for what we agreed upon in writting. Few weeks went by, the manufacture shipped the boat out to Lake Havasu. The dealer/[redacted] had been in pretty close communication this whole time, he stated "the past is in the past" and "we were OK with each other" The dealer had agreed to take the boat out to Chino Ca where the trailer was being made. The dealer sent me a few Email's describing the delivery process, and some popular accessories I may want to purchase at time of delivery. When the boat arrived, They sent me pic's of them unloading the boat from the trucking Co, and said when they recieve my check, they would drive the boat out to the trailer company. With my communications with [redacted], he stated we were all set for delivery. So I went to my bank, signed all the loan paperwork, went to my Insurance company and paid for the first years insurance. Sent the required deposit to the trailer manufature. After doing all the financial legwork to complete this transaction, I sent a Email to [redacted] at Got Water saying my lender was sending the casheriers check overnight to him. Not more then ten minutes after I sent that Email, I recieved an Email from [redacted] at Got Water to cancel this transaction, and If I posted anything about it on the internet he would sue me for Slander. I'm only to assume that he was still upset over the pricing errors on his behalf, and never intended to follow through with this transaction. OR another client inquired about this boat, and said the heck with that other guy ?? Who knows what really happend on their side. I am shocked that any business would conduct business in this manner! I have contacted the manufactre, and they have agreed to build us another boat threw a different dealership. And are extremely upset as well with Got Water Marine as well. My only intention is to warn other would be buyers of the unethical business practices of Got Water Marine. This dealership has done nothing but given us the run around, caused a considerable amount of un-needed stress, and completly ruined this new boat purchase for my family.Thank you. Toby Zachry
