This is in response to complaint # [redacted] [redacted] We anticipated problems with this customer since the beginningShe haggled the price looking for free services stating that she would be the manager at her apartment complex and would refer our companyWe went as low as we could possibly go ($for a move from 3rd floor to 3rd floor that otherwise would be $minimum) She deceived us saying that her move would be to a 1st floorOur movers were as careful as possible, however, when furniture has been moved multiple times, some parts become lose during previous moves etcMs [redacted] claimed that her lamp did not work after we moved it and her TV stand was scratched on a non-visible area and the leg of her sofa was loseWe took her lamp to a lamp repair shop and attempted to fix her TV stand and fix the screw on the sofa's legThe screw had been stripped during a previous moveWhen we picked up her lamp from the shop we called Ms [redacted] to deliver it however, after attempts to contact her for two weeks with no response, we waited until she contacted usShe accused us of taking too long and when we told her we had been trying to contact her she said "Well, I work"Ms [redacted] called on Friday and spoke to Irene, our secretary, and cursed at her with language unbecoming a human beingand for absolutely no reason Irene became so upset and felt so threatened by Ms [redacted] that she had to go home ill and called her doctor for help That is so uncalled for, Irene is the kindest person you will ever meet.On Saturday, Ms [redacted] was contacted and she said that Monday would be a perfect day to deliver the lam because she was off work On Monday morning, we called Ms [redacted] to let her know that our driver was on his way to deliver her lamp(we woke her up) our driver went to her door and knocked several times but she did not answer the door We called her and told her that our diver was at her door but she still did not open the doorOur diver left and an hour later, she called the office outraged and using the worst foul language I have ever heard, calling us liars, and thieves and threating to slender our company and call the police An officer called us and we explained the situation to him and he told us that he had had a conversation with her as well and had found her extremely rude and confrontational, and wished us luck with her We will attempt again to deliver her lamp, will fix the small scratch on her TV stand and even help her fix the stripped screw on her sofa's leg, however, we can not refund the price of her move, our movers worked very hard for her, they deserve to be paidShe also benefited from our equipmentShe is very unreasonable in her demands and tries to take advantage of the situationHer attitude is very unbecoming of that of the fully grown woman that she isJust because she might have referred our company, does not justify a free move We contacted her employer's corporate office and had a conversation regarding her behavior As I stated, we will attempt to come to a mutually satisfactory middle even though she is so difficult to reason with ?
