First and foremost, this alleged incident occurred at Condoms Galore, *** *** *** ***, PA *** -There Is NO *** *** * *** at this address.The customer purchased an electronic kitchen scale and a calibration
weightWhen he was talking to our store associate during the sale, the customer was on his cell phone engaged in another conversation the entire time he was in our store, making it difficult to communicate with him.He returned the day after and spoke to the store manager and wanted to return the calibration weight, which he did not have on him at time of the requestHe also did not have the scale or the receipt on his personThe manager advised the customer that she would need to see the scale and the weight in order to see what he needed so she could do an exchange of the weight to get him the right one, if that was even the problemThe manager also advised the customer of our return policy which is posted in store and on the store receipt "All Sales Final" due to the adult nature of our products.It would be very easy for someone to purchase the calibration weight, go home, calibrate the scale and then return the weight after it's been usedWe would however, help him get the right size weight if that was the problem, but could not help him because he had no product on him when he returned.Under Pennsylvania law, all sales are final unless otherwise postedWe clearly have our return policy posted and all associates are trained to advise our customers of the policyWe've been In business for over years and value our customers very much.I believe after you review this complaint and our response, you wilt advise the customer accordingly and will favor on the side of Gothic Incorporated T/A Condoms GaloreThank you.Bill R

Review: I had bought a digital scale along with the appropriate calibration weight about a week ago in store from this business. During the time of purchase I was on the phone and had asked the customer service representative to pair the appropriate calibration weight with the scale that I was buying. Inside the package was a manual describing how to calibrate the device and how much weight should be used according to the factory settings. Upon arriving home I had realized the weight was incorrect according to the manual that came with the scale. Today (Oct. 22nd) I went back to the store to try to return the weight. I had spoken to a manager and she had told me that there were no returns, I also did not have A receipt, I asked for store credit and she said there was nothing she could do.throughout discussing with her my problem she had complained that if a customer had came in on their cell phone she herself would not have served them, I tried to submit a complaint about the gentleman that brought me the wrong item and she practically laughed in my face. A few thoughts going through my head are: was the gentleman who helped me the day of purchase trained properly in the merchandise that he was selling? the manager essentially gave the same response over and over telling me that I should have been paying closer attention to what I was buying and that all of the scales were properly calibrated by her. whether or not the scales were properly calibrated is not the issue because after a while they start to decline in accuracy and say for example after a month of use I myself would have to calibrate it. there are multiple choices of calibration at the store that the gentleman could have chose from, it is almost as if he carelessly guessed instead of telling me he didn't know. also at the time the gentleman had not commented on my cell phone use if there was an issue I would have gladly put it away I earn the minimum wage and the free time that I do have I try to get as many things done as possible.Desired Settlement: I believe I paid with a credit card I would like for that amount to be returned.it would also be nice if the business trained their employees better as I was unable to submit a complaint of the one at question.
