GotoBus

I do NOT recommend GotoBus or booking with ***. TI booked a trip with them from NYC to Bethesda, Maryland on ***. The bus had mechanical problems from the very beginning. It should have been checked in their depot. We basically went about five blocks when the driver announced that we couldn't continue. Luckily, we were only 6 passengers, and the following bus an hour later had just enough seats to accommodate us. I did receive an apology email with a $*** coupon for my next trip. However, I will NOT travel with them again.

On my way back from Maryland, they sold me a ticket for February , to return to NYC. My family members and myself stood in a corner in winter waiting for a bus that never came. We had to make a few calls before we were informed that they didn't have service on that day. I had to reschedule for the next day. They did not even offer a courtesy refund. Luckily, I have welcoming family members in Maryland, but what about if I had to pay for a hotel room, or had prepaid hotel in NYC?

I have receipts to prove my complaint.
