I purchased a Gottex Profile Swimsuit a few years ago & I loved it. The swimsuit had very little use and is in perfect condition EXCEPT for a weakness in the material across the butt. I contacted Gottex Customer Service and was told in 2 emails that that cannot replace / repair a swimsuit over a year old. How disappointing that they do not stand behind their products. Review: I purchased my very first Gottex swimsuit thinking that a top-notch brand would help me feel more confident about my appearance while at the beach or pool. I have purchased the Size 12 Gottex Aztec Shirred Skirted Hipster from [redacted] in October 2012. I have attached the invoice for official records. I have not worn the suit then swimsuit due to cold weather but had bought it in advance to get ready for warm weather. Now, I started wearing it in May 2013 and the hipster’s waist has expanded many inches. The skirt came off me while I was in the water at the beach, which was very EMBARASSING! Coincidentally, [redacted] here in Wilmington, NC carries that suit now and I compared the waistline of a brand new size 12 to my current one, and it is very clear that the skirt’s fabric has expanded. This should not be the case with a high quality swimsuit and that too within a few months of use. The top is also coming off of my chest already. Before you ask, no, I nave not lost any weight and it does't matter as the measurements of the product show that my suit has expanded. I would ask that you replaced the suit for me.
