The trash recepticle was picked up today (Jan5, 2015) I have not received IN WRITING from Johnson Sanitation that my service has been canceled Only in the e-mail message were the words "the customer will not be charged"I need written notification from the company that their service has been canceled

This trash Bin has been removed from this property This customer cancelled service in December If a customer has a balance prior to cancelation, they are automatically billed for that quarter This customer had a balance prior to cancellation Because Johnson Sanitation does provide great service to all customers, we will give this customer the last three months of service free, because they did not pay We received cancellation from this customer in writing, and the service was cancelled at the end of December as they have indicated in writing, which has been placed in our files The balance owed and the credit given by Johnson Sanitation has also been filed A copy of the statement has been attached for your info Please advise the customer of the balance and that Johnson Sanitation has given them credit for the last three months Johnson Sanitation takes pride in providing excellent service to all customers

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 
I am sorry but I cannot believe the response I got from this company! I have read it over at least 10 times trying to figure out what in the world they are trying to say since none of this happened in my experience. It is hard to understand some of it but most of it I do understand and that bit that I do get is that they are making a lot of excuses up for their very bad service. Not once have I ever received a letter or paper ever since I started service with this company stating when they would pick up my trash in the event that a holiday would take place on a pick up day. I had this problem also with the holidays at the beginning of the year when I had a totally different pick up day other than Monday. Like I said I have had multiple pick up days because of all the issues. The fact that they said they did not get in contact with me because I said not to is completely false and ridiculous. Number one, I specifically stated in the complaint several days after labor day during which time I have been trying to contact them before they even received a complaint, that I wanted to be contacted by email and not by phone because I do not personally believe that this company is capable of returning phone calls. The last paragraph of the response has absolutely nothing to do with my problem and the business and is irrelevant. I know that a business cannot be perfect but at this point it is sounding like a high school debate and much less like a professional response. A professional response would have consisted at least of the truth and an apology. In this case I got an apology for out right lies! I do not know what goes on in an office but I do know exactly what goes on at my house and I did not see a driver show up once between Labor Day weekend and Wednesday after Labor Day when I called Tuesday and Wednesday of that week and was told they would be arriving both days and never showed. I left multiple messages multiple days tried to call several times this was before the complaint was ever filed and is completely irrelevant. Please except my response as the last response I will ever have to this company in relation to this complaint. The company picked up my trash as asked but they did not contact me and showed up unannounced which highly irritated me. I was extremely lucky that my fiancé happen to be home that morning or I do not believe that the trash would have ever been picked up since they do not contact anyone especially by phone and even by email. I won't know further contact with this company but I absolutely do not except their excuses because of the complete lies they have told me. They were contacted not only by me but by family members before the complaint was filed and still never picked up their phones or answer their voicemails this is their problem not mine anymore. Thank you for getting back to me and helping me get in contact with this business. I do not except their response for the reasons listed previously.

In regards to the complaint filed by [redacted], Johnson Sanitation did not contact her because of the request she made to you.  In response to her complaint.  When she requested the service, she was told that her pick-up day would be Monday.  This is the day for her...

area.   All drivers are responsible for picking up on the days assigned to each customer.   When she notified the office that she was not being picking up on her scheduled day, the driver was called into the office and given a warning during this time.  He finally did not return to work.  Another driver was hired and followed instructions and picked up refuse on schedule.  The office did not hear from this customer until Labor day weekend.  During this time the previous driver had returned to work months prior to her call during the Labor day weekend.  He had been picking up at her residence for several months.  Flyer's were placed on each customer's cart or in a location they would see letting them know that Monday September 1, 2014 pickup day had been changed to Saturday, August 30, 2014 because of the holiday.   These flyer's were placed on the container or somewhere the customer would see it on Monday, August 25, 2014.  Johnson Sanitation was not open on September 1, 2014 because of Labor Day.   We reopened on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.  Therefore her message was was not retrieved until Tuesday after Labor Day, given to another driver on Wednesday and placed on the list for Thursday to be picked up. When they went to her house to get her refuse, her cart was empty.   Johnson Sanitation does  not work on the weekend unless the schedule has been changed.  Monday thru Friday is the schedule we follow.   
 
We did followed Ms. [redacted] instructions, not to contact her, and to pick up her cart.   We would have offered her free service for the year for the trouble she may have endured during the time of her service. 
 
Johnson Sanitation takes pride in their work, and most of all do their best to accommodate customers when they have complaints.  We are not perfect, but we strive to be perfect.  I will use another company for an example, I contacted [redacted] because I had a problem with my service, they came out, but the problem was not fixed until 20 days later.  I am still with [redacted].  The point I am trying to make is that I know they make mistakes, but I don't have a problem with them, because they do take care of their responsibilities, they may not do it in a timely manner but it is done.  I feel that Johnson Sanitation did take care of her problem in a timely manner due to the fact it was a holiday weekend, the schedule was changed and flyer's were put out notifying each customer.  We did not have any other complaints on that day.  Those that came in were dealt with on Thursday following Labor Day. 
 
Again, Johnson Sanitation extends and apology to Ms.[redacted] for any inconveniences caused during her service with Johnson Sanitation and would like to offer her a year of service without charge.

This company was paid by check on Dec. 22, 2014-- the check # is recorded in my ledger.  However, they must have lost the check-- as it never cleared after 5 months.  I will pay the $43.20 for services rendered from Oct.- Dec. of 2014 by CERTIFIED CHECK.  However , due to poor office management  the check I wrote is LOST, and now there is a worry for me concerning my bank account number.
