With this being a "Pack By Owner" job we are not liable for something missing from a box. We do not open boxes, so we have no way of knowing what is in there. So we have to pay out based on the insurance liability that you have opted out to.

they stole the stuff to much expensive stuff missing as for packing they packed some of the boxes and also how about them not using there own people to unload the truck hiring people from craigslist that is what I never agreed to they where to use there own people as I asked how do you lose 7 small boxes and 4 large  and they do not care.I will be plastering what happened all over the web about them Regards,

We have reached out to the customer to satisfy the settlement. He have come to a resolution. We have refunded his deposit. Complaint Is satisfied.

I am rejecting this response because: We are still hoping we can get our wicker chair with blue cushion back. This is the only item missing now.  We have found other missing items that was attached to boxes that we did not think of.

The customer sent us an email on the 2nd of October when her move date was on the 4th. That is only 2 days, when it has to submitted in writing at least 3 days in advance. So Unfortunately, we were unable to refund her deposit.

I am rejecting this response because:Although I am happy to furnish the company with paperwork they ALREADY have, I don't see how it will help to resolve the dispute of the interactions which took place: in person (the movers in NY, of which I have two witnesses other than myself and my husband), and over the phone (the dispatcher who claimed I would need to find my own storage unit and store my items there if they couldn't deliver the items when they wanted to otherwise there would be a charge for it and the woman in billing who had no clue what she was doing in spite of claiming she has done this for years).The funds are still available to take care of my balance, but I will not pay them until this matter is resolved.

Its just not true... I have my phone records to prove that Joe h[redacted] simply didnt return my calls, the quote doubled.. I told the foreman to take whats on the list and he didnt want to touch anything until I sign a new contract...I gave joe h[redacted] the size of the storage unit as the items in there were in there for 2 months.. My calls were never returned!!!you guys are simply unprofessional! Thieves too???

I am rejecting this response because:they stole my stuff then the ask me to file a claim for 60 cents on the weight are they kidding me I am missing over 10,000 in stuff wow I will get about 120.00 for all the stuff that was stolen from meb and some stuff can never be replaced
