First off all "Shane" never answered his phone so I did callback until I got him. He didnt answer using his business name and was not interested in the fact that his employee is going around being rude and representing his company in the way that he did. The vehicle had the company name onit. Shanes interpersonal skills are antagonistic and rude. I called to give him feedback on this rotten sales person, and the bottom line is he didnt care. I am certain that that sales person is already discouraged because people will certainly turn him away! Shanes rebuttle was full of excuses and inaccurate truths. He negelected to admit that he called me a nutcase because I only reported this tow or three weeks later, again that is because my neighbor told me whaft she experienced a few days ago, otherwise I wouldnt waste my time. The careless attitude to a potential customer was unacceptable. I was in fact interested in the product and asked that rude person who came to my house for a flyer and he said he couldnt give one. Hmmmm. Yet, I'm the rude "New Englander" Keep your buisness down South then.... We will keep our money here with reputable fresh meat markets.I know nothing can really be done about rude people, but a csutomer can put everyone from a rude incompetent sales rep to a CEO of a business out of a job simply by spending their money elsewhere! I wish you luck with your Napoleanic arrogant attitude!

First and foremost to make a matter of record.....we sold thousands of customers last year alone. we've been successfully in business almost 7 years steadily growing every year. In doing that business we have the occasion to deal with many types of people. As a business owner it is my responsibility...

to keep as solid a composure as possible. in the course of the last seven years we have only had 12 complaints and have tried to respond to each of them in their own merit. The Revdex.com doesn't record the hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers, but yet allows for consumers to wield their authority threatening the Revdex.com's participation. It is in my opinion that this particular concerned citizen called to exert that authority. I was on another call when this call came in and [redacted] called three times without leaving a message on our forwarded service. Finally upon hanging up with my call, a fourth call came in and I answered and proceeded to listen to [redacted] concerns that someone had knocked on his door two weeks prior and was persistent and rude. he gave no identifying details to help in determining who, what, when specifically.....he was just venting. Then he remarked that another neighbor was also approached that same day and that he wanted our representative to be reprimanded......I tried to ask questions of what kind of vehicle, what did he/she look like but kept getting interrupted by this gentleman. He then proceeded to tell me that sometime the next week that the same driver was again in his neighborhood and that he wanted some type of justice because he was insulted by our presence. I tried to explain that we do a considerable amount of business in his community and that we have numerous sales reps that cover that area, but once again I was interrupted. I re-iterrated his concerns back to him and clarified what he wanted, and as I was about to tell him I would try and make sure that it wouldn't happen again, once again he interrupted me. I didn't see a resolve. he continued to threaten me and educate me on what I needed to do and that I hadn't heard the last of him. Clearly, I do not want negative public relations in any way. As I have stated in previous complaints,.....there are just some people you just can't please. Whether they buy something or not.

This transaction was not Gourmet Advantage. Our store in New England was closed in January. Tommy M. and Joe m. were let go from company mid December. They were continuing to buy & sell meats to the public on their own. I instructed the complainants to check their firm of payment to identify who...

avtually sold them the meat. There rebuttal was that the two salesman used 'gourmet advantage brochures and gourmet advantage receipts so therefore our company was responsible to give them a refund. They just wouldn't listen. I know for certain that [redacted] nor get meat through Gourmet Advantage and that measure were taken to stop those unscrupulous salespeople from continuing to use our name any further. I tried to explain thT I would help them make contact with those salesman but they continued to demand that I was responsible for their loss. I instructed them once again to check their form of payment to acknowledge to whom they did business. I realize they are upset and would like compensated but I don't see how their loss is Gourmet Advantage responsibility.
