Hi Mrs*** and those viewing this post on the Revdex.com, I'm replying to this in hopes that further information clarifies the situation and shows that at GP Construction, we truly do go above and beyond to assist our customersOn the date of the review (September 22) we had scheduled to
finish the project on Mr& Mrs*** home with the final trade, which was installing a windowThe morning of the scheduled window installation, we were notified that our main installer had a death in the family and needed a few days to complete the tradeWe notified the homeowner of this and sought to reschedule, but due to the circumstances, we didn't have a firm follow update to give themThat being said, we did get the window correctly installed on September 29th (one week later, as the installer had to travel out of town for the funeral)In addition, the homeowner stated in the review something to the effect of rotted deckingper the insurance companies authorization, we replace decking complimentary up to sheetsIf the home is older or is experiencing more issues with decking, we notify the insurance company and they authorize more deckingFrom an insurance companies perspective, sometimes this is due to storm-related issues, and other times this is maintenance neglect or an error on the part of the original builderRegardless, our commitment at GP Construction Group is to always bring the home to code and to go above and beyond with our homeownersThat said, I do not have any indication that any further issues were found in the completion of the roof installation projectSince this post, all trades have been completed, and we are waiting on the final payment from Mr& Mrs***If there are any questions regarding this response, the work completed, or the allegations of this post, please contact our offices and we'd be happy to provide further details and answer any questions you might have. Warm Regards, ~*** ***, VP

Sent: Tuesday, February 02, 2016 11:26 AM [redacted] Subject: FW: Revdex.com Complaint Response   Hi,   We need to respond to complaint #[redacted] (attached above). Please let me know if you need anything additional for processing.   Response: “We can find record of the...

second hand of stain. -Dryer vents were not aligned and were resting on rafters. All of them were corrected and are now properly aligned.-They complained of a gas leak that was due to the improper installation by the company who installed and ran their gas lines (not GP). Mr [redacted] called and said that there was a gas leak and that they have to stay at a hotel and wanted us to take care of the fill. Later on the plumber determined that gas leak was not because of a nail going thru the gas line, it had to do with the base by the pool. -Patio umbrella was damaged during installation and we ordered a new for them. These are the main areas that were of the question. We've made right on all of them.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Sir,The events in which Mr. [redacted] claim, did not happen.  I was never notified of any death in the family from the glass/window company they contracted nor GP Construction.  In fact, from the time that GP Construction was "completed" doing my roof, it took them 5 weeks to install a window screen and replace my broken glass on my window.  Please take note, my claim was open since February.  Furthermore, I am now disputing an amount in which was never on the original proposed documents.  I can only say Mr. [redacted] does not know what information to rely on as I'm sure he too is overwhelmed with the increasing complaints, no offices in San Antonio to handle such complaints and growing dissatisfaction with clients.  I find that there is too much pride for Mr. [redacted] to pick up the phone to call, or a ladder to inspect work done under his name, or address my complaint or anyones for that matter.
Regards,
[redacted]
