GP Masonry

We hired Giovanni Pannoni aka GP Masonry back in June 2019 to do a stamped concrete pour and patio walkway. We had a contract for a July 1, 2019 completion. He and his guys came one week, dug up my backyard and never returned. I called, called and called him. He would give us the run around of he's coming this day/that day or he was sending his team over. No one ever showed up. We never got the work done. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt when he stated he would complete the work in August, however, he again did not show up. We have a awful looking backyard that is dug up and grass growing out the piles of dirt. We have requested a refund with no response. At this point, only thing we can do is seek legal action against him.

My boyfriend and I contracted Gio Pannoni in May with a start date in July. I handled all of the communication for the job due to the fact that I was present more than my boyfriend was. My boyfriend handed over a deposit of $1,640 which Giovanni expected before the job started. When the job began we were to pay another $3,280, which we did. Gio plays a game where he will tell you people are coming and then no one will ever show up. Gio went ahead and blocked both mine and my boyfriends number and then claimed he was "never trying to screw us". We moved forward with firing him and told him we wanted our money back. He said he would come with the money instead he came by himself and in front of myself and my father he stated that he wanted to finish the job. I left the decision up to my boyfriend and went ahead and called him. My boyfriend believes in second chances so he allowed him to continue the job. All we received was the same garbage. I was left hanging, my mom had been left hanging and my boyfriends mom had been left hanging waiting for someone to "show up". We decided to fire him for good and asked for our money back because little to no work had been completed and he had earned $4,920 dollars for doing basically nothing. He told us he would give us the money back, never showed up. He told us he would give us $3,700 of the money and he never came. Then he told us he would have $2,500 by the next day and blocked our numbers. This guy also claims he has purchased the vanity and tile for our bathroom but yet we have asked for proof of purchase and receipts multiple times and have never received any. He also was bold enough to say the items were being delivered to our house, yet magically none of those items have ever arrived. We simply want the money back. He installed the electric incorrectly because he is not a talented contractor in which he had NO OUTLINE of the bathroom or job. He just had people doing work without realizing the electric for the bathtub needed to be in a specific place as well as the electric panel for the bathroom. The bathroom is a disaster as well. His water bottles full of dip spit are all over our bathroom.

We hired GP masonary after our pool concrete contractor was unable to do it in the time frame promised. I found this joke of a guy on facebook marketplace (first mistake) gave him 3k part check and part cash for a deposit . I asked him not to cash the check until he started the job which was promised a few days later. He had no intentions of starting when he said. He sent several text messages telling me he was on his way and didn't show up. He also cashed my check that very day.

I am wriing this to warn people. DO NOT HIRE this guy. He left my pool a.mess. concrete spilled in it. Did the worst job I have ever witnessed and then left my property a mess. He also was not in location when concrete was delivered and I had to pay for that even though I paid him a deposit for the materials ?

This kid is a joke and he has no business being in business
. I am taking him to small claims to get my money back People do your research before hiring him.

I contracted with Giovanni Pannoni(GPmasonary) to do an porch, sidewalk, side steps, gutters, roof repair, limbs on tree, garage repair, patio On April 1st with an completion date of April 19th. For the most part gutters got done but not the drain pipes, roof repair , garage repair was done except a piece on top that was suppose to be replaced, Tree limbs were cut but not the right ones(this was suppose to be corrected also), front porch was torn down and rebuild but not finish there first steps, the sealing was never done, border, Railings were supposed to been order, sidesteps were never done. Dirt and trash left in front yard, My back yard patio was dig and stones are in but he never return to complete the job after asking me for a 1000 for the concrete, I also paid for a fence, post, and panels which I never got receipt for except this invoice where he added each time he ask me for money. My back yard has dirt, trash, logs they never picked up. I have gave him almost nine thousand dollars and probably got 4000 worth of junk work. I had tired plenty of times to contact him during the times he was supposed to show up but there was no response. He never returned any of my calls, text messages. He should not be in business he took advantage of me. I would like for him to refund 4000 . I will be going to small claims court. I also will be making complaints with the attorney generals office...etc. I have plenty of pictures to proof.
