What [redacted] said is simply not true.  He has never once called me to get payment.  I have been the only one that ever pursued setting up payments when nobody ever called me, but after several promises from someone else that I would be contacted by another company to set up payments, I lost all faith in the whole venture and am afraid of losing more than the $95 I've already paid.  All I want back is a mere $95 and I will stop contacting the company.  It is not too much to ask.  His statement that he "made several attempts to get payments from Ms. [redacted]" makes me even more wary of paying more money  because I know that's not true

Review: On December 21, 2013, I attended a presentation in Renton, WA and signed a contract for membership in the savings club. I paid $95 but when it showed up on my checking account statement showed a PayPal transaction with an individual's name, not GPS. They were supposed to bill me monthly and never did. I e-mailed a few times and called a few times and at least twice I was told I'd be contacted by the financial company that would process the automatic payments. The second request I was told Pilot Financial would contact me but they never did. I was told my account would be activated even though I hadn't paid the minimum $500 yet to access benefits, but I don't have a password, only a license number, and I feel that by accessing it I would be entering into a contract that has already been broken by the company. I don't have confidence that I would be able to access my benefits, and by beginning to log in, it would appear I was still a member. I had also sent a check for $35 in June of 2014 to the Portola Parkway address for a first month payment (auto payments were to have been $32.49) but it was never cashed. I have had positive interaction with [redacted] but that is all. I had a phone call from someone else twice from someone who said he was calling from the company but I was told he did not work there any more, which makes me wary as well. Although the purchase price was $995, the contract was for $1,264.64 after finance charges. I paid the $95 with my debit card.Desired Settlement: I want my $95 returned to me AND if the check I sent for $35 is in their office somewhere, I would like that as well. I also want a letter saying that I am no longer under any contract and that the contract has been cancelled by mutual agreement.

Review: First, when contacted to attend a presentation I was told I'd have the choice of a free [redacted] stay of two nights and four passes to their park or round trip airfare and two nights vacation package for two plus a 100 gas voucher and a 100 restaurant certificate. Once done with the presentation which went over 90 minutes I was shown the G.W.L. Certificate with a lot of restrictions plus you have to pay $30 per person so I said I'd take the vacation package. That isn't free either. You have to pay $50 and then you have to pay an additional $200. I asked about the rest of what I was promised and was told they no longer are doing the gas vouchers but would give me a $300 restaurant voucher. That isn't free either. You have to pay $30 and then get a $25 certificate to be used towards your bill for example $25 off $50 bill. So, you get told you'll get gifts but in reality you don't. I've been to several presentations and never have I been lied to like this. I started to buy with these guys but started getting red flags with the company with this and then the company responded with a gmail email account. When asked for their website and company name I wasn't given information. I then finally found their information on here which though they say they have an A rating in the presentation I quickly learned they aren't even registered which was another lie. When I emailed them what I found and to shred my information they responded by saying "We have notified our Legal Department regarding your threatened report and will take action against any false statements". I don't threaten and again out of years of doing presentations and buying into a couple different programs I have never seen anything like this! Beware!!!!! You will waste your time and perhaps your finances if you choose to deal with them. You will not receive any free gifts!Desired Settlement: I want what I was told I'd receive for taking time out of my life to go to their presentation. Or, I would like the value of the free gifts I was promised.

Response:

Ms. [redacted] was offered an unconditional money back guarantee. When Customer Service made the welcome call the day after the purchase we discontinued her license as it was obvious the program was not for her. Ms. [redacted] was never charged anything and her complaints are false statements against our company, which we have turned over to our legal office for possible action. Her main complaint is that Customer Service uses a Gmail account. As we told her numerous companies use g-mail to quickly sort and provide better service. Many larger Companies enjoy immediate information and shared access thru Google docs. This is especially beneficial for customer service. Taxes and Fees do apply, the gift is complimentary. Her complaints are without merit, as she was never part of our program. Despite the Money Back Guarantee, she never gave us a chance.

Thank you,

Customer Service

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

My chief complaint is not the gmail account. My chief complaint remains as stated in my initial letter to you and a warning to other consumers. I never received a free gift. I was offered one thing on the marketing call and then after doing the presentation which went over 90 minutes was told that they do not have the gifts I was offered. They wanted to give me something else which was a ridiculous price to even participate leaving the "free" gift not at all free.

Dear Mrs. [redacted],

One of our senior advisers has been trying to reach you by phone to give you a free membership. In an audit by customer service we find that we were sorely lacking in providing you the five-star service we are known for and are so proud of. There were a number of factors that affected our communication with you, but feel this is no excuse for the communication on our part that was not up to our standards. Therefore we would like to offer you a free membership to our program so that you may enjoy the benefits you purchase without cost. I will email you the activation information and I'm on standby to help assist you in anyway. Please accept our apologies in this matter again let me know how I can help.

Thank you,

Review: I signed up to attend a presentation by [redacted] in Federal Way Washington.I was told I would be given 2 nights at Great wolf Lodge, after the presentation I was given a certificate that required A $100 money order for a reservation deposit.I filled out the certificate and sent in the $100. The certificate said to expect a response in 2-4 weeks. After 4 weeks I contacted [redacted] as listed on the certificate and was told that I would have an answer as to why I had not received a response and where my $100 was.I was told consistently that she was going to have a resolve by the end of each week. After about 3 week I was told that they had a third party issuing the reservations and she would be reaching out to them for an answer. I let her know that I was not contacted by the third party after a week of waiting to be contacted by them. At this point I am not getting any response to my emails or calls. I have been communicating with their customer service center for over a month, with no resolve and now no communication. I have a copy of the filled out certificate I sent in along with the money order receipt!Desired Settlement: I would like the 2 nights at Great Wolf Lodge that my $100 money order paid for.

Review: On 12/05/2013, my wife and I attended a presentation for the GPS Savings Network in Vancouver, WA. At the end of the presentation, we decided to buy. We were charged a so called discounted rate of $995. 3 days later we changed our mid and requested the refund. We followed the procedures in the agreement. I was in touch with [redacted] (Customer Service) and she gave me every indication that my refund would be processed. Part of the procedure was to send a certified letter to what I presume is the office address. The letter came back undeliverable. We verified the address with [redacted]. I sent her, via email, the report from USPS showing that the letter was undeliverable and a scanned copy of the receipt. She acknowledged receipt. I have repeatedly asked in emails regarding the status of the refund, but have not received any response. We tried the letter again and it came back undeliverable as addressed again. We had called Roger Moran as well, who is the owner, but after the first call, he stopped answering his phone and his voicemail box is full. At this point, I am left with no choice but to pursue further steps to collect my refund. I am left feeling that the company has no intention of providing the refund that I feel I am entitled to. I have never received the product/service that I originally purchased. I no longer desire it, but since I expressed my intention to cancel, the call to setup my account was cancelled and never occurred. I genuinely feel at this point that I am now a victim of fraud.Desired Settlement: In the agreement it is stated that the refund would equal the purchase amount minus $299 for administrative costs. This would leave an amount of $696 ($995 - $299). I would like this amount refunded to me on the credit card I used for the purchase.

Response:

We were surprised to see the complaint from Mr. [redacted], as we have been working with him and thought this matter had been resolved a long time ago. Two different departments have worked with Mr. [redacted] to process his refund. His license and payment were processed through an affiliate. We were assured this matter was handled weeks ago. We will reach out the Mr. [redacted] to be sure this has been resolved.

Response:

We have 300,000 participants in our program and the contract is in place to protect both the business and the licensees. There are very specific ways to cancel and to return the materials and request a refund. We have multiple offices and these procedures are in place to ensure compliance on both sides. Ms. [redacted] failed to follow any aspect of the cancellation policies and this has interfered with the process. In spite of this we are working with Ms. [redacted] and she has already received a partial refund and we are working on the balance.

Thank you,

Customer service
