My car was making a LOUD clicking type noise in the front right tire area when I brought it into Firestone to be looked at. They insisted by the sound of the noise it was in need of new shocks, some type of sway bar kit & struts (which would cost around $700). I had my dad speak to them about this issue & they stated to him they had not taken off my tires to even look at it (simply diagnosing a $700 repair based on a sound)...they would take a look at it then call us back. They insisted it was the proper diagnosis. Unsure about how truthful they were being I took my vehicle to another facility to be looked at. They took it in no problem & explained my bolts on brakes were loose, popping out and causing everything inside to "come off". They replaced the bolts & brought my car back to me with a smile, excellent customer service & even free of charge. They insisted that it was no problem at all & they were glad they had extra bolts to help me out. On top of this a few months ago they quoted me the exact same thing to be done for my rear tires. I spent over $1300 to repair a simple noise that was coming from the back...exact diagnosis like this recent time. After repairing my shocks the noise was still there & they insisted I needed to replace the sway bar links and struts. Once I decided to do that, the noise was still there. They said it was a faulty shock and replaced it free. I dont trust that they fixed what they say they did because they originally told me it would take weeks to order the parts from Canada then when I called to check on the status of their arrival they said they had to record of it being ordered but could get it by the next day. They should have check shocks before charging me another $700 diagnosis. Interesting both diagnosis were the same...they tried to con me and they had HORRIBLE customer service. Very rude people. When I arrive to pick up my car it was still lifted, no tire and all staff was in break room. No other clients were in waiting room.
