Review: GR Flooring installed hardwood floor at my house. Despite nice flooring they installed, there were a few other things they failed short to complete.1. did not cover the work place and hence created very dusty environment (fmaily member has allergy).2. did not fill nail holes completely, and did not secure wood buttons that cover the nails at the railing.3. The painting done at the stairs were minimum. 3. Most importantly, they left 3 large holes in the wall next to the bottom of the steps.All their excuses are referring to the signed contract. The contract refers two coats of paint only and customer's responsibility to "touch up walls".It is obvious that the job is not completely done so I had to do all the rest of the work myself, and hire someone to fix the holes in the wall. They put in the contract that the last payment is to be collected at the BEGINNING of the last working day so that you have no chance to defend the dissatisfied work.People saw the holes in the wall all agree that it should be fixed by the flooring company and it is not just a touch up work.Desired Settlement: Reimburse the amount that is required to fix those holes.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is partially satisfactory to me.

GR flooring can say all the things in the letter, in the contract, but verbally, they promised before I hired them was not carried. So my trust of people is hurting me.

My dog did not chew any of the woodbuttons. They can claim anything they say wihtout proof.

Yes, I do have people working in my house. But that doesn't give them the right not to fix what comes ouf of their work.

I gave tips to those workers because

1. I think they are hard worker. But the owner is not treating the customers right.

2. The last guy left while I was about to leave the house. In such a hurry, I didn't even inspect the last part of the work - staircase. Because I trusted others.

The owner did not give time for the customer to inspect the work at the end given that money was collected, I had no way to turn to.

Despite all the little unsatisfed area, the main point was the holes left in the staircase, and the attitude of the owner. If the day after the project "completion", the end of customer serivce, complaints are not accepted, this created issues.

The check is still available to be deposited. Also I realized on 4/5 that I wrote the wrong name on all 3 checks for the 3 payments. I wrote CR flooring, stead of GR flooring. Therefore, the bank should not deposite the checks in the first place and the owner should have corrected me in the first place. I don't know when the last payment was cashed in by the owner. If returned, I should not be responsible for that returned fee because the name on the check is incorrect.

Again, I do appreciate the hardwork the "workers" do. But not the attitude the owner has. I am NOT accepting the owner's response 100%. But the owner can say all he wants and the disagreement will still the there specially the holes -- they are NOT touch up work, despite all the reasons he gave. Since the problem has been fixed by someone else I hired, I am not going to waste more time on this complaint.
