Review: Grace Cleaners Damage my clothes.(One cotton dress and on pair of wool pants) Poor customer service and the usage of foul language. The Manager refuses to even inspect the damages and claim that he was not responsible for any damages.Desired Settlement: Refund $200

In response to [redacted]'s allegations that we damaged her pants, I want to first say that the damage incurred on her pants were in no way shape or form our fault. When [redacted] brought the pants in to us after it was cleaned and delivered to her apartment, she brought the pants in to the store and THREW the pants on the counter stating "You burned my pants!!". After inspecting the spot [redacted] claims we burned, I noticed that it was not a burn but rather material that was worn through wear and tear. The "burn" was actually a slight thinning of the material due to the pants rubbing against something else. We see these often in pants that are old or used often. (Location of the wear was on the inside pant leg around the ankle area.) After seeing this I told [redacted] that it was not a burn from ironing the clothes but from wear and tear. When [redacted] realized that we weren't going to be taking responsibi lity for wear and tear she became irrate and started threatening us by claiming she was going to bring the cops/call her husband/stay in the store till we gave her money. I tried to calmly explain to her that the "burn" mark was not a burn but she wouldn't hear any of it. After I told her that these things happen to some pants when worn for a long time, she accused me of lying and said "If you're gonna damage my clothes I'm going to damage yours too!" When I finally said that I'm going to have to call the police, she grabbed a handfull of clothes on the rack and threw them on the floor and left.

P.S. [redacted] claims that we used foul language when talking to her. This is a lie. I have never and have absolutely never had a reason to curse to her or anyone else.

I would like to thank you for taking the time in helping solving my problem. Your service is great. In response to Grace cleaners, it is human nature to defend oneself. Grace cleaners fabricated their statement. The pants that I purchased was from banana republic who is well known for good quality. The location of the burn is on the side (not inside) as stated Grace cleaners. That shows that they did not bother to inspect or verify the damage. I stand from my original statement that Grace cleaners should reimburse me for the damage.

In response to [redacted]'s statement "The location of the burn is on the side (not inside) as stated Grace cleaners. That shows that they did not bother to inspect or verify the damage". If you see my original response, I clearly state that the "burn" is on the side of the pants and more specifically on the inside leg portion of the pants. The "burn" that [redacted] keeps claiming is as I have stated before not a burn! The material is worn. It is not a burn!

Review: I had a a designer trench coat cleaned by Grace Cleaners (at their second location, [redacted] and when I got the coat back, the leather piping throughout the coat was ruined. I have called several times to resolve this issue, but the owner has yet to return my calls or refund me for the cost of the coat.Desired Settlement: I need $150 so that I may purchase a comparable coat.

Review: I sent a valuable nearly brand new silk to be dry cleaned. It came back stiff, colors faded and the silk completely worn. I have before and after photos. They refuse to be held responsible for the damages.Desired Settlement: I want this shirt replaced or the value of it returned to me.
