Police explorer
I don’t recommend buying from these people unless you have money to put into repairs! I’ve put a lot of work and money into my explorer and it now needs a driveshaft and lower control arm bushings. the owner won’t part with one of the driveshafts out of a low mileage parts vehicle he has ripped apart and I was willing to pay a fair price for a used one with low miles on it but wanted to give me one that was already out that has who knows how many miles on it. They don’t pay much for these at auction go to one sometime and see how much of a mark up he has on these ! I definitely won’t buy another one from them and definitely don’t recommend buying from them unless you want junk.

2nd vehicle we have bought. We love Grace!

Issues with vehicle from day 1. When vehicle went in for repair came out with odometer 50,000 more miles on and was told not to worry about itDay 1 would not pass inspection they fixed that only to have the engine light come again. Turn signal work when they want to. Bring car back numerous times for same lights on. They tell me not to worry about it now, however vehilce will not pass inspection again with these lights on. Next repair I had done [redacted] didnt know they had to take my vehicle out to another dealership to program this part.. Pick up my vehicle to see odometer reads 50,000 more miles on it then when I left it with them. Again told not to worry about it. WEll I have an extended warranty on vehilce that will be void with the amount of miles showing on vehilce now.Desired SettlementI want them to take vehilce back and pay off remaining amount due on it, since I traded an 09 Toyota Camry that from day 3 I asked for my car back that I did not want this vehicle and they said NO its a done deal.Business Response Customer purchased vehicle with extended warranty. 2nd vehicle we have bought. We love Grace!

bought a vehicle from them 3 months ago, now the vehicle does not run, hence they knowly sold me a lemon. want to see my options for getting a refund, or maybe coming to a compromise with the owner of grace quality cars for another vehicle. Desired Settlementeither a refund, or a compromise on another vehicle. Business Response [redacted] P [redacted] purchased a 2001 Chrysler with 133,294 miles on December 11, 2013 (more then 90 days ago). At the time of purchase Mr. [redacted] signed a limited used vehicle warranty (vehicle with more then 125.000 miles are not covered by limited used vehicle warranty). He was offered an extended warranty which he refused. As a courtesy, we offered to give Mr. [redacted] a 30% labor discount with repairs he needs. Though we understand and trying to help our customers above and beyond, unfortunately Mr. [redacted] expectations are not reasonable and we will not be able to assist him more then what was offered. Following are the warranty terms from MGL:Mileage Warranty PeriodLess than 40,000 miles 90 days or 3,750 miles, whichever comes first40,000 to 79,999 miles 60 days or 2,500 miles, whichever comes first80,000 to 124,999 miles 30 days or 1,250 miles, whichever comes first125,000 miles or over No express warranty

Complaint[redacted], Grace Quality Cars failed to comply with Massachusetts Lemon Aid Law to void/cancel vehicle sale if it fails vehicle inspection.[redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars failed to comply with the Massachusetts Lemon Aid Law which by law allows me to void or cancel a motor vehicle sale if the vehicle fails to pass [redacted] within seven days from the date of final transaction of this sale which occurred on Friday 19 July 2013 when I picked up the vehicle from the dealership. The vehicle transferred to my custody from the dealership was a 2000 Chevrolet Truck G3500 Extended Cargo [redacted]. On Monday 22 July 2013, this vehicle failed a Vermont State Vehicle Inspection for rusted condition of the frame and then again on Wednesday, 24 July 2013 this vehicle failed the Massachusetts State Vehicle Inspection for rusted/holes in frame, directional lights, headlamp, and lighting/reflector. The vehicle was then returned on 24 July 2013 in accordance with the Lemon Aid Law to the dealership at Grace Quality Cars, [redacted]. Additionally, the estimated cost of repairing the vehicle frame defects was $5906.46 which exceeds10% of the purchase price ($12,000.00). Of note, the market currently does not sell new replacement frames for this vehicle. Finally, they were notified in writing via certified mail as required by law that I demanded a full refund under the Massachusetts Lemon Aid Law and they did not comply IAW M.G.L. c. 90 §7N. [redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars failed to comply with Massachusetts State Law, which states Dealers must display Lemon Aid rights by putting a sticker on the left front window of each used car at the time of delivery. [redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars, deceptively stated both in writing and verbally that the vehicle sold did not have a warranty as required by the Implied Warranty of Merchantability which is required by Massachusetts State Law. By law, this implied warranty is automatic with every car sold by a dealer in Massachusetts.[redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars, deceptively stated both in writing and verbally that you could waive the implied warranty of merchantability. By Massachusetts Law, (M.G.L. c. 106, §2-314), a dealer cannot sell cars "as is," "with all faults," or with a "50/50" warranty.[redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars deceptively stated in a letter that the "Massachusetts Lemon Law does not cover vehicles sold to Out of State buyers or registered outside of Massachusetts" which is not only a deceptively false statement, it does not comply with the Massachusetts State Law.[redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars deceptively stated in a letter that "vehicles modified or altered from original factory specifications such as RV's or conversion vans not covered by the used vehicle law (MGL, Chapter 90, Section 7N1/4) which is not only a deceptively false statement, it does not comply with the Massachusetts State Law (M.G.L c. 90, §7N1/4).[redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars deceptively stated in the attached Massachusetts Consumer Guide that "out of state sales" at "Not Covered by Massachusetts Lemon Law" which is not only a deceptively false statement, it does not comply with the Massachusetts State Law (M.G.L. c. 90 §7N.)Desired SettlementI have suffered injury or loss of money in the amount of $12,125.00 [redacted], DBA Grace Quality Cars have failed to fully refund my money as required by the Massachusetts Lemon Aid Law.In accordance with the Massachusetts Lemon Aid Law, I demand a full refund of $12,125.00.Business' Initial Response Grace Quality Cars addressed this matter above and beyond the dealerships responsibilities including offering an exchange. The customer received a letter explaining everything Grace has done to assist. Since the vehicle was damaged by the tow truck operator hired by the customer when he ran out of gas it is not Graces responsibility to do the repairs. However Grace Quality Cars repaired the vehicle and brought it to the Mass State Inspection facility of customers choice where it passed inspection. The customers son was against the purchase of the van by his father from the time of purchase. He verbally abused and threatened Grace Quality over the phone mentioning his position of power. Since vehicle was reinspected and passed inspection Grace Quality Cars have fulfilled its responsibility and can not be a part of the family dis accord. This matter was reviewed by the legal counsel. Grace Quality Cars acted in accordance with the agreement signed by the customer and assisted beyond its duties. Currently the customer has an outstanding delivery bill.Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Grace Quality Cars once again has failed to address their deceptive and illegal business activities. The AAA certified tow truck driver and a Vermont State Police officer will testify that the damage/rusted frame existed on the vehicle when it broke down the day the vehicle was delivered to me from Grace Quality Cars, 19 July 13. They did not cause the damage nor could they have caused the damage which was a pre-existing rusted and deteriorated frame caused by years of rusting that did not pass either Vermont or Massachusetts state inspection requirements. The only other tow truck that moved this vehicle on at least two occasions since the 19 July 13 was a Grace Quality Cars owned tow truck. To highlight the character of this business, Grace Quality Cars has now taken actions to cover up the pre-existing frame damage with a faulty repair that was not certified by a licensed mechanical engineer. Only a certified and licensed engineer is allowed to evaluate vehicle unibody frames in accordance with the National Transportation Safety Board standards and certify the vehicle safe for use. After a faulty repair that does not meet NSTB safety requirements, Grace Quality Cars towed/abandoned the vehicle in Vermont in the midst of a Massachusetts States Attorney General's Office Consumer Compliant. I personally talked to Mass inspector Grace Quality Cars mentioned and he told me on the phone that he is not certified to determine if that repair meets safety standards. He stated Grace Quality Cars had a self-created letter that "certified" the repair safe. He also stated that he doesn't know if the repair even meets MA state requirements. On 23 August, Grace Quality Cars received the demand letter required by the [redacted] demanding relief under the Lemon Law. Regardless of Grace Quality Car's deceptive antics, I fully complied with the MA Lemon Law requirements and demand and am entitled to a full refund. Grace Quality Cars needs to comply with the law.Business' Final Response Grace Quality Cars has repaired damages caused by over ratcheting the frame by the customers ordered tow. It was not Graces tow truck. Though the issue is between the customer and the towing company the customer hired, Grace still repaired the damages and brought the vehicle to the inspection station of the customers choice where it passed Mass inspection. Three Mass State licensed inspectors checked the vehicle and agreed that it passes Mass State inspection. Grace Quality Cars went above and beyond its responsibilities in this matter.

My experience with Grace Quality Cars was great, everything was fast and accurate, great service. I highly recommend them.
