I am rejecting this response because:What is "alot" in reference to dress
hemming? If I tell a customer their spark plugs cost $and I tell them it's because "you needed plugs and it took a lot of hours", I'd probably lose my jobAt the very least, if a complaint of that nature came to me regarding one of my employees and I had sufficient evidence to know it's true, someone would be unemployedI hold the dress shop to the same standard I hold fabrication shops, to the same standard I hold a mechanicIf I can see a statement detailing time spent multiplied by your hourly rate, plus your cost of material, I would have been more understandingIt is currently clear to me that no such document was ever madeWithout a shred of evidence to support what I've been told, my position will not moveMy desire for an adjustment of the final bill to match the quote stands, as the service rendered was in fact satisfactory.
