To Whom it may concern, On June 7th we went out on a service call at [redacted] *** The company that sent us out was the home owner's home warranty company The home warranty company dictates what they will pay to repair and what they wont The home warranty company makes all decisions on coverage Our technician only relays what he sees It turns out that the customer's policy was only a few days old and this claim was denied When a claim is denied that means that we can not bill the home warranty company for any cost associated with the repair The customer does have an option to get a second opinion, which as far as I am aware was not utilized The customer can also pay to have the repair made, which was refused There was no repaired made and no charge for repairs Our company did not cause the failure we were dispatched to repair The home warranty is our client, and this customer is their client, until which time they want to pay for the repair, then they become our client We are sorry for the home owner being upset about the denied claim but there was no malice or destruction of her property from our part.Thank You, Adam RPresident

Review: I put in a call to [redacted] on March 30, 2014 in regards to having an issue with plumbing. Grade a Pluming came out and told me that I would receive a call in 24-48 hours in regards to replacing my faucet. Well it has been 2 months and my faucet still has yet to be replaced. I have called on numerous occasions and allowed 24-48 hours Adam has not returned my phone call in a timely manner. I have made numerous appointments where the appointment has not been kept and the technician has called my house after 9:00 pm in regards to service which is way beyond business hours.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of service fee since the job was not completed.

Review: I CALLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR A PROBLEM WITH A SLOW DRAIN WHICH THEY SAID THEY WOULD COVER FOR A DEDUCTIBLE OF $75.00. SO THEY SCHEDULED AND ARRIVED ON 5/14/2013. THE PLUMBER ENTERED THE HOME AND WENT STRAIGHT TO WORK ON THE PROBLEM. AFTER ABOUT 5 MINS, HE CAME UP , WENT TO HIS TRUCK FOR A BIGGER ROUTE HEAD AND WENT BACK DOWN INTO BASEMENT FOR ANOTHER 15 MINS. HE CAME UPSTAIRS TO CALL THE COMPANY TO TELL THEM THERE IS A BLOCKAGE IN THE TRAP. HE THEN TOLD MY WIFE THAT IT WAS NOT COVERED, AND PUT MY WIFE ON THE PHONE WITH [redacted] FROM [redacted] (MY INSURER). SHE SAID THAT NOW THE FEE WOULD BE $130.00 INSTEAD OF $75.00 AND THE REPAIR WOULD NOW COST US $435.00 TOTAL WITH THE $130.00 FEE. AT THAT POINT I WENT TO TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE AND THE PLUMBER HUNG UP THE PHONE BEFORE I COULD TO TALK TO THEM. I REFUSED TO PAY THEM $130.00 AND THE PLUMBER SAID THAT HE WOULD GIVE ME A DISCOUNT OF $55.00 AND ONLY CHARGED ME $75.00 AND ASKED ME NOT TO TELL ANYONE OR HE COULD GET FIRED. SO I AGREED, BUT WONDERED WHY WOULD HE SAY SUCH A THING WHEN THE CHECK IS BEING WRITTEN OUT TO THE COMPANY ITSELF, MEANING THEY WOULD KNOW. SO AFTER HE LEAVES I GO DOWNSTAIRS TO THE TRAP AND REMOVE THE DRAIN CK. I THEN STICK A 3 FOOT LED CAMERA THROUGH THE PIPE AND SEE THAT THE TRAP IS CLEAR 3 FEET EITHER DIRECTION WHICH MEANS THERE IS NOT A STOPAGE, OR ANYTHING BLOCKING THE PATH OF FLOW, HENCE A SLOW DRAIN. SO I CALL [redacted] @ 8[redacted]. I EXPLAIN THIS TO THEM AND THEY SAY THEY COULD NOT COVER IT BECAUSE THE PLUMBER WROTE IT AS A BLOCKAGE. I THEN LOOK AT THE RECEIPT FROM GRADE A PLUMBING TO SEE IF THEY COULD EXPLAIN OVER THE PHONE WHAT HAPPENED, BUT THERE IS NOT A LETTER HEAD, PHONE NUMBER OR ADDRESS PRINTED ON THE DOCUMENT. IT WAS A GENERIC RECEIPT WITH A PEN WRITTEN PHONE # ONLY. SO I CALL AND THE GENTLE ANSWERED BY THE NAME OF [redacted]. I EXPLAINED THAT I FOUND THERE IS NOT A BLOCKAGE AND WAITED TO SEE IF HE WOULD GIVE ME A REASONABLE RESPONSE. WHAT I RECEIVED WAS AN EXPLANATION THAT $75.00 WOULD BARELEY COVER HIS VISIT.Desired Settlement: THERE IS ONLY A SLOW DRAIN, SO ALL I WANT IS FOR THEM TO NOTE THEY MISDIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND TO REPAIR THE SLOW DRAIN. THE FACT THAT THEY REPORTED THE PROBLEM INCORRECTLY IS WHAT MADE THE INSURANCE NOT COVER THE PROBLEM. I ALSO DO NOT WANT TO PAY ANOTHER DEDUCTIBLE OF $75.00 BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS MATTER RESOLVED BEFORE I HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY PROVE THAT THERE IS ONLY A SLOW DRAIN AND PURSUE A LEGAL CASE AGAINST GRADE A PLUMBING.
