Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/11/10) */ This was an unfortunate misunderstanding between the client and the artistTypically, when a client does not finish with a sitting, it is expected that they will pay a fee to cover the cost of the set up of ink and needlesI don't believe the artist would have reacted the way he did had he realized what the situation wasI contacted the client and expressed apologies on behalf of both the shop and the artistI also offered to make this right for her with possible choices for herThe artist was happy to finish the work for her and was willing to apologizeI offered to pay the cost of his set up out of my own pocket to insure her happinessIf she did not feel comfortable with this arrangement, I also offered to have any of our artists that she would like to choose from complete the work with the shop also picking up the cost of the tattooI believe these are both good faith options to resolve what was an unfortunate misunderstandingShe was offered a copy of her Department of Health paperwork but this is not technically a "contract."

artist would have reacted the way he did had he realized what the situation was. I contacted the client and expressed apologies on behalf of both the shop and the artist. I also offered to make this right for her with 2 possible choices for her. The artist was happy to finish the work for her and was willing to apologize. I offered to pay the cost of his set up out of my own pocket to insure her happiness. If she did not feel comfortable with this arrangement, I also offered to have any of our artists that she would like to choose from complete the work with the shop also picking up the cost of the tattoo.
