Graebel Lightning Movers, Inc. Reviews (5)

I did not get a response from the business that was forwarded by Revdex.com. The business credited $300 and promised to pay expenses and hotel stay. They have credit us the expenses and hotel stay. They were suppose to provide us the forms for the reimbursement and they were also suppose to forward the claim forms for us to claim the broken items. We have not heard back since they credited the $300. I would consider this case close once we have received the items promised above. I hope you can help resolve this issue for us.

Thank you !

The claim forms have been received from the customer and submitted to our claims department for settlement.

The original driver that loaded this shipment was not able to fit everything on his truck which left an overflow of items in Phoenix, AZ.   Graebel's Central Dispatch had another driver that was heading to Texas that were scheduled to pick this overflow up but also filled...

up.  We delivered the items as soon as we were able.  Unfortunately the second driver that was scheduled to take the load and filled up made it seem like we were giving this customer misleading information.

Graebel has refunded $300 in goodwill along with a delay claim that has yet to been settled.

Review: We contracted with Graebel to move our belongings from Phoenix AZ to Austin TX around end of July for our move date of August 29. We had to change our move date and to Sept 5 and notified them on August 14. On August 28, we received a call that the crating company was coming out to crate a stone table for our move on August 29. We immediately called and talked to the [redacted], our move coordinator that we had called to change the move date. He proceeded to tell us he completely forgot about our conversation and admitted that he did not change the date and he still have us down to move on August 29. He told us that at that point he cannot move us on Sept 5 and will have to move our date out to Sept 8. Because of the delay in the move date which caused the delay in the delivery date, we have to stay in the hotel for almost week until the items arrive.

They arrived and did load the truck on the Sept 8 but they could not fit all the items in one truck because they had underestimated. We had to wait several hours for another truck to arrive and pick up the remainder of the items. They could not give us a date of when the second shipment will arrive at that time and we have to call in a few days to find out.

Meanwhile our first load arrive in Austin on Friday Sept 12. When the truck arrive the helpers that were helping us unload arrived, however, 2 of out of 3 of them were pulled over by the police as they drove into our street and were arrested and their cars were towed. The third person had to go and bail the father out from jail and we were left with no one to unload the truck. We had to wait for 3 hours for another crew to arrive.

We have been calling to get our second load delivered and we had a hard them asking them to commit to a date and were told that the coordinator [redacted] had left the company. We were also told to contact another coordinator [redacted]. She referred us back to the Phoenix office that had already told us [redacted] left and to contact her. She also said she will call us back but we always have to call her and she told us that there is no truck coming to Austin TX in the next 2 weeks and we can only expect the second shipment to be delivered on Sept 26 as it will be picked up on Sept 24. She said she guarantees that and she also knows the driver personally. Today is Sept 24 and our second shipment is suppose to be loaded on the truck and we receive a call from [redacted] that the operations in Phoenix messed up and could not load until Sat Sept 27 . So our shipment will not be arriving until Tuesday Sept 30. We have to make arrangements to take time off from work and also had to reschedule a business trip.

We do not want to get another phone call on Sept 30 saying that out shipment has been delayed again and asked who can we speak to and what we really want is to have our second shipment deliver as promised on Sept 26. We were told there is nothing they can do and we have to call the Operations manager in Phoenix. We have tried to call the Operations manager and he is not answering and left a message and we have not heard back from him...Desired Settlement: We would like to be compensated by getting a 20% refund for all the inconvenience that the company has caused us:

1. from the start where the move date was delayed from Sept 5 to the 8 because [redacted] does not remember our phone conversation

2. 2 out of 3 Helpers to unload were arrested by the police in Austin on the day of unload Sep 12

3. We still do not have out second shipment and have no idea if it will really arrive on Sept 30 when we were promised Sept 26.
