We are sad that the person who filed the complaint is unhappy with the results of our video contest, but the contest rules (copied below) clearly state that we may disqualify contest submissions if, in our sole discretion, we deem the use of the logo to be "inappropriate, impermissible, or... illegal." Since we offer the [redacted] product for sale in many of our retail stores, and sponsor periodic "Dog's Night Out" events at many of our retail stores where customers bring their pets to Graeter's and purchase the [redacted] treats for their pets along with ice cream to treat themselves, we did not deem the use of the logo as problematic. This was designed to be a fun contest. No purchase was required, and each participant received a $10 digital gift card whether or not their entry was chosen as a finalist. CONTEST RULES EXERT:Company names, trademarks and/or logos other than those owned by Sponsor, music other than the melody and lyrics of the Graeter’s "An Ice Cream Dream" Jingle, photographs, artwork, other copyrighted materials and the name, voice or likeness of any person not on the Team (collectively, "Third Party Intellectual Property") may not be included in any Entry submitted. Any Entry submitted that includes any Third Party Intellectual Property (example: Team Member in Entry is wearing branded merchandise with a proprietary brand logo) may be disqualified if such use is deemed inappropriate, impermissible or illegal, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest, or whom Sponsor believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries made through robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method, or entries made through any third-party website, and to disqualify any individual using such a method
