Review: On Sat. May 11th at 8:45am, a Exxon customer filled her Toyota with what she thought was octane 89 gas. [redacted] drove less than 1 mile, her car gradually lost power then totally stopped at that point. Saturday Exxon Mobile denied any problem with the gas. She had it towed ($85) to her mechanic on Monday. Then she got into dialog with Exxon service manager, [redacted], who said they would cover it being towed back to them and they would fix the problem in 2 days. The car was towed back to Exxon on May 15th 3:45pm for $75 (paid for by her) May 16th, the story from [redacted], gas station manager, is that the gas station is going to provide a repair estimate to Exxon on Saturday, that the repairs will start once Exxon Mobile approves, and then Exxon will send out the checks afterwards. He stated that Diesel fuel had been put into the 89 Octane tank at the station, confirming earlier suspicions. He advised talk to [redacted]. That his staff just operates the pumps for them. He indicated the towing charge invoices would be included with the submission on Saturday. Asked about a replacement (rental) car he said he was not aware that the company had authorized it for any of the cars involved. Nevertheless, it appears [redacted] will be asked to pay for the repairs in addition to the towing prior to receiving reimbursement at some unspecified later date.She was advised to phone [redacted], supposedly the Exxon corporate rep, who answered her first call saying he'd call her back. He has been unreachable for clarification of the the company's intentions.There is no clear sense of who is taking responsibility for what, who will issue the what it will cover [repair, towing(s), rental, other]. what it will cover [repair, towing(s), rental, other]. Today, 9 days later no resolution and no funds to assist in a rental car. Which her personal funds are not available. She is at risk of losing her ability to earn income, which requires personnel transportation to do so.Desired Settlement: Provide a customer service experience that backs the product ( gas) that was contractually agreed with [redacted] paying $62 with receipt for unleaded fuel. Provide the liability insurance information to us. Repair the damage done to the car in a timely manner covering the cost of graham road Exxon service issues that occurred. Have the public aware of the misinformation and misconduct of subcontractors, owners and Exxon. Environmental impact to mixing fuel. Pay for rental,towing,wage loss.

I don't own the fuel pumps or fuel at [redacted] Exxon, [redacted] does , I'm only responsible for the garage part of the station.

In response to the complaint from [redacted], I followed all the protocol that was given to me by [redacted].

1. get estimates from all customers whose vehicles were damaged by the fuel mix up.

2. make copies and submit to [redacted].

All information has been submitted to [redacted] and to this day I have not received any reimbursement for the work that my mechanics did on those vehicles.

I'm forwarding your letter to [redacted] again so they can respond to the complaint.
