Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/29) */
Big Impact University is designed to teach entrepreneurs how to create a thriving business. This requires students to look inward at limiting beliefs and emotions that are often, confronting. As business experts, we saw [redacted] struggling with...

this and resisted being coachable every step of the way. We offered her powerful support that to this day, she has refused to engage in.
We've gone above and beyond to offer her additional avenues of success in her business that she has repeatedly declined. We can't guarantee success to someone who doesn't come to class or implement the system.
She did not schedule any coaching sessions through our online scheduler or make any requests on how to schedule her sessions. We reached out to her several times to re-engage her in the program.
[redacted] feels that [redacted] was verbally abusive to her during her Group VIP Day on April 4, 2014. I was present as well as 2 other students and this is simply not the case. [redacted] gave her truthful, direct coaching, after receiving her permission to be direct and honest.
On April 9, 2015 she emailed me asking for a refund. On April 15th, 2015, I spoke with [redacted] regarding her concerns & complaints. I explained to her she is not eligible for a refund because she has not completed her program and that we can't guarantee the results of our program unless clients complete the program in entirety. I offered her an additional $9995 of value and to get an additional 6 months of coaching and support for free.
This is the email I sent her after our phone call on 4/15/15...
Hi [redacted],
Really nice connecting with you today. I'm
glad we were able to land and connect in an
authentic, sweet heart space together.
As promised, here's the Big Impact University invitation and everything you will get. The only thing that's not listed in the invitation is the bi-monthly Guidance Counselor calls.
The investment is $9995. It's important to us that you get the value from what you originally purchased so as we discussed on the phone, I'm going to waive the FULL tuition for you.
I want you to be wildly successful [redacted]... to work less and earn more, and have a whole lot more FUN too! ;)
Just let [redacted] know if you'd like to join us in Sept at Big Impact Speaker. I've cc'ed her on this email so she's in the loop with what we discussed.
Again, those dates are Sept 10-14 and we'll be in San Jose for that training.
Once you let us know if you can make it, then we'll hook you up with the 6 months of Big Impact Support group coaching calls with [redacted] and I.
[redacted]- please reach out to [redacted] by May 31st if she
hasn't reached out yet. She'll have a better idea
if she'll be able to join us by then.
Have an awesome rest of your week [redacted] and get some rest :)
Lots of love,
[redacted]
On Sept 5, 2015 she emailed me again with another refund request. This was my email reply...
[redacted],
Sorry to hear you're still in an angry place.
I haven't seen you engaged in the Big Impact Support calls, the private FB group or the free monthly meetup we offer. If you'd choose to engage in any of these platforms, you'd see that the Big Impact Tribe is getting kick [redacted] results and we more than deliver on the promise of our program: "Learn how to turn 10 mins of stage time into $10,000"
The Tribe has generated over $90K since July and over $3.3M in the last 12 months. We would love nothing more than for YOU to get these kinds of results. In order for us to help you, you need to engage in the program. We're coaches not miracle workers.. we can't help you if you're
not showing up.
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for a refund. We don't offer refunds after
3 days of signing up for the program.
Hope you are well, sending you love and healing.
Lots of love,
[redacted]
With all of our students, we go above & beyond to ensure their success. We're committed to [redacted] and all other clients to help them get stellar results. In order to get the results, they must show up and participate fully. [redacted] is welcome back anytime, we love her and wish her all the best in business and life.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2015/11/02) */
The most important things for anyone to know who is considering a purchase from these two ([redacted] & [redacted]
. If you pay in full (as I did), and nothing of value is delivered for your money (as in my case and many others'), you will lose all your money and have nothing to show for it. THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
. They claim to be "in your corner and on your side". However, once they have your money, they really don't care about you at all. You won't hear from them. Don't be taken in by their claims. They are not true.
* Research, research, research and you will find that their claims of successful clients are exaggerated and untrue, and (in some cases) likely completely fabricated. Don't be taken in. They will tell you that their clients have gained hundreds of thousands of dollars of new business using their methods. Don't believe this. Ask to have a FULL list of previous clients and talk to those people (not just the few they want you to contactwho get referral fees). You'll see that their claims are false.
. You will not have a chance to see how amateurish and disappointing their materials are until you have paid. When they sell their programs, they sound SPECTACULAR! They sound foolproof. They sound like a great system. However, you won't see what you've bought until after you've paid and it's too late to get your money back. Believe me, it is a really bad feeling to see that you've paid $5000 (or more now) for things that look like an assistant grabbed a bit of information off the Internet and they call that a product.
. There are many businesses who provide services similar to these. Seek them out. These two ([redacted] and [redacted] do not have integrity. You will not get what they promise you...and they clearly let you know (after the fact) that they won't give you your money back (as [redacted] herself states in her response to my claim). You'll regret the loss of your funds.
. For my $5000, truly I received zero of value. Their response to this is, "Come to this new seminar (with a doubly inflated price) and we'll call it even." Now, I ask you, if you haven't gotten value for the time and energy you've already invested (considerable amounts of both in my case), is this a reasonable offer? No, it is not. A business with integrity would respond, "I'm sorry this did not work out for you. We will refund you the money for the services you never received (and CAN NO LONGER RECEIVE)." That's the behavior of any business who operates with integrity.
. I'm 70 years old and the loss of $5000 is huge to me. Even worse is the loss of trust in myself by being taken in by these two. They could sell sno-cones to Eskimos. Unfortunately, they don't care much about delivering any value for those dollars you spend. They're on to sell the next bunch of people and get their money.
. Once you have paid, [redacted] & [redacted] pay you little or not attention (as in my case). They really ONLY want the money. They have no commitment to their clients. They do not care at all if you get your money's worth. Beware.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2015/11/04) */
We have a double your money back guarantee, that we are happy to honor with clients who are eligible. The guarantee states "if within 1 year of completing the entire curriculum, implementing all action steps & committing myself fully, I have not doubled my investment in the program, I am eligible for full money back guarantee."
Despite several invitations to reengage, [redacted] has not completed the program. We have a heart based, spiritual business and we can't serve clients who refuse to take action with the mentorship & support we provide.
[redacted] has a tremendous amount of potential and we would love nothing more to help her succeed. She's welcome back to our community and coaching anytime. We wish nothing but success for her and are eager to deliver on our promise.
[redacted] & [redacted]
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2015/11/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not want to work with these two. I do not want to be in a situation where [redacted] can be abusive to me again. [redacted] and [redacted] did not provide me with what I bought (and they sold to me).
The little bit that I got from them had exactly zero value. There is no way that it would be logical for me to invest any more of my time and energy into working with two people I do not like, trust or would even allow into my immediate circle.
What's significant is that once they have your money, you have ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE of getting your money back. I hope that I can warn others not to be scammed by these two.
* They misrepresented what I would get.
* They did not give me the coaching I paid for.
* They refused repeatedly to even make an appointment for a coaching session (which I intended to use to request my refund).
* They claim to be coaches, but have no training as coaches.
* They sold what was supposed to be a spectacular "Mining For Gold" program. It was a very shoddy and amateurish list of questions that they wrote up in about 10 minutes.
* They sold me a Speaking Training program. This was also supposed to be a spectacular training where participants would completely prepare and deliver a signature talk. I spoke to participants who had taken this program. They told me that it was a joke and had little or no value. I did not get this and don't want it as it is clearly worthless.
* They sold me some sort of Presence and Profitability program. I do not want to take this program. I expect that it would be completely lacking in value as all their other materials have been.
* They sold me a Niche consultation call with [redacted] which was supposed to be fabulous and promised that, within 30 minutes, I'd know my niche. That call was a complete joke and completely without value. At that point (a few weeks into the program) was when I came to realize that [redacted] does not have the skills and expertise he claims to have. He told me on that call that my niche is being a copywriter. I've been a copywriter for over 10 years. Why would I want to pay [redacted] to tell me what I already know? He's so clueless about what a niche is that he thinks that's a niche.
* Once I started to have doubts about their ability to deliver on their promises, I knew I'd made a huge mistake giving my money to these two.
* They sold me a VIP Day where we were supposed to come up with a complete set of services for me to sell. This was a complete waste of my time, the product of the day was very amateurish and reflected their own lack of good business sense. The day was capped off by being screamed at by [redacted] when I did not agree with his ridiculous ideas. He has huge anger management issues and is frightening.
I want a full refund of my $5000. I got nothing of value and these two are NOT CAPABLE of giving me anything of value. All the "money back guarantees" in the world mean nothing when the subtext is, "We have your money and we don't give a &*^%$# about you!"
At this point, there is no respect from me to them and not from them to me. Truly, none of us would really want to work together at this point. I'd have to trust them and I don't. They'd have to care about me and they don't. The only reasonable response is to recognize this truth.
The only fair solution is to refund my money and let me take it and invest it where there is actual value.
I liken this directly to the current case going forward against Trump U and [redacted] The judge decided that the training had "zero worth". That's exactly what's happened to me and to others who enroll with these two. In the Trump case, [redacted] has gotten trapped in his own lies. In this case, [redacted] and [redacted] have not yet had to pay for their deceptions. They are great at selling, but, as in the Trump case, their sales pitches are "deceptive at their core".
I want a full refund of my $5000. I've gotten nothing of value.
