with my insurance. I explained to them the problem I have had with Gramercy Gynecology. Even though this doctor was never in my network of coverage and my insurance has no responsibility they were really understanding and decided to cover this bill. They also informed me that they will instruct the doctor about insurance policies.

Review: The clinic actually takes more money upfront than my insurance covers and stay silent. Over the past 8 months, I've been request for refund they've owed me. I kept called but they always said the same thing - head manager who is responsible of giving refund, [redacted] isn't there but she went off to school taking classes. Her assistant saying the longest excuses how complicate the process of giving refund and finally blaming for the doc office department. Billing department promised to get back to me, but like always, I never get a call. So I called again and her assistant said the exact same thing and gave me the other number where the front door ladies pick up the phone. Then, they put me into the longest hold line ever and never answers the phone. I still haven't got any respond. I hope Revdex.com.org solves the issue.Desired Settlement: I need refund they've owed me.

Review: I met with [redacted] back in 2012 where she proceed to tell me I have [redacted] and then realize she had the wrong patient in her office. Once she saw me officially she was rude and claimed she would run all tests. I called a week later to find out she hasn't. I spoke with [redacted] who apologized for the awful failure and the potential malpractice and told me I would not be charged.

Then I continuously received bills where I finally spoke to the Office Manager who made note in the system, along with our documented emails, that everything will be removed. That was in 2013.

I have now received 4 invoices since 2015 requesting payment. I called and spoke with [redacted], who saw all notations from [redacted] and the office manager in the system and said she would speak with billing and have it removed. This was in April.

I now have received another invoice and this is borderline harassment, medical malpractice and harmful to my livelihood. If this harassment continues I will be filing a police report.Desired Settlement: They are to remove all charges from the system, my information, medical records and have no more contact with me, via email, phone, mail or any other correspondences.

Review: I have visited the doctor's office for a preventive care annual check-up on November **, 2015. I did not request and was not provided any additional services except my annual preventive care exam. My insurance was built for an annual preventive visit and an additional office visit on the November **, 2015. The second visit was obviously billed in error and I have paid $87.24 (transaction ID [redacted]) on the day of the appointment from which I was supposed to pay only $6.46 for the smear exam. I have contacted the business on December [redacted] and December [redacted]. Instead of providing me with a refund they had sent a notice demanding a payment of additional $14.65.Desired Settlement: $80.78 to be paid back to me immediately and the incorrect outpatient visit charges removed from my account.

Review: I was a patient of [redacted]'s. Before making an appointment, I spent hours on the phone with Gramercy Gynecology (GG) staff ensuring that my insurance would completely cover any visitation, as I was just out of college and strapped for money. I saw [redacted] for an annual examination then was told that I needed to return for a [redacted]. I again spoke with the front desk team about whether this procedure would be covered by insurance. I told them "I do not want to have this procedure done unless it will be covered by insurance." I was told that it would be 100% covered by insurance. I have since received a bill for $469.06. I have spoken with GG's [redacted] and the [redacted] about this issue to no avail. If you check the company's [redacted] page, it appears that this is a recurring issue and there is a blatant problem with honesty within GG billing. There seems to be a scheme wherein they inform patients that ____ x procedure is fully covered by insurance, then they take no accountability and blame insurance miscommunication when the bill comes in the mail. I have requested to speak with the Doctor about this issue and she refuses to speak with patients about billing. I find this very unsettling, as her employees are deceitful and do not relay honest business or information to patients, then when the patient is punished for GG staff's tactics, the doctor refuses to help out.Desired Settlement: I request that this bill be dropped and that in the future, the [redacted] provide patients with honest accounts of insurance and coverage. If they are unable to do so, then GG needs to inform their patients that it will be the PATIENTS' job to verify insurance and coverage, because the [redacted] cannot provide honest, accurate information.

Review: On April **I received a bill from Gramercy Gynecology stating that I owe a balance of $ 570.00 for the general check-up visit I had with [redacted] on August **, 2013. Prior to making the appointment, doctor’s personnel informed me on two different occasions that I am fully covered by my insurance and that [redacted] is in my network. I should not have been billed.

As a patient I fulfilled my duty of coming to the front desk, submitting my insurance card and ID and getting approval from doctor’s employees confirming my insurance is accepted. The front desk employee didn’t fulfill her duty of providing true information.

After I was billed, I called my insurance and was told that [redacted] was never in my network. The information I was given by her personnel was wrong. Nevertheless the clinic sent me the bill. I am not responsible for the negligence and misinformation of doctor’s personnel. Had I been given the true information that she was not in my network I certainly would not have made the appointment.

My visit was on August **, 2013. The bill to my insurance was submitted in September. After it was denied, the clinic did not even have the courtesy to inform me that there was a problem. Only 6 months later (on April **) I received a bill with a payment due date on April **. This is unacceptable and wrong. After I tried to resolve this issue on the phone with the billing department of doctor’s office they were rude and not helpful.

After checking reviews about Gramercy Gynecology on Yelp I could clearly see that this practice of wrong doing by the front desk/billing employees is common. I would like to request your assistance in this matter.Desired Settlement: I request Gramercy Gynecology to void the bill they sent me.
