Review: On June **, 2015, had to be the worse day of my life. I made an appointment with Monique a week and a half in advance and sat down and talked about what exactly I wanted to do with my hair. Monique and myself as a whole came to the decision, to make my hair blonde and add about 3 tracks to give my curls more length. I have naturally curly hair in which I do not use any kind of heat on my hair to protect it from heat damage. Monique claimed to have a hair vendor whom would bring the extensions for me the day of my appointment. I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early. My appointment was for 11:15 am. I asked Monique about the hair and she told me she didn't have the hair and hasn't spoken to the person whom sales it. Monique then proceed to tell me to walk over to the lucky beauty supply store and buy packed hair. So I did. Once I got back, I waited for about 20 minutes before someone even started my hair. Her assistant, I believe her name is Twilight. Twilight was kind enough to start me by taking out my full laced weave. After taking out my weave is where the problem really started. Monique then began to put a lifter in my hair to take out the black color. I sat under the dryer for about a hour. After rinsing that out, Monique sat me under the dryer to to dry my hair for another hour or so. After drying for that hour, Monique then began to put the bleach in my hair very sloppy. She then made me sit under the dryer with bleach on my hair for about 30-45 minutes. This is after I told her my hair bleaches extremely fast. Once she washed it out, my curls were completely straight. My hair was fried. My hair which was once soft and extremely curly, is now completely damaged, dry and falling out. I had knots and clumps of hair falling out. Monique never conditioned my hair and left me sitting there for hours while she did other peoples hair. I ended up leaving the hair salon at 6:30pm, with my hair not done at all. Monique charged me $100 for this process and didn't even try to apologize.Desired Settlement: Honestly, Im upset Monique charged me $100 for the mess she created on my head but I'm more upset about the condition she left my hair in. Monique did not apologize at all and she also had an attitude with me. My hair is completely damaged. After years of me taking care of my hair, She ruined it in a day. Yes a refund would be nice but thats not my main concern, it's my hair health. Im going to include before and after pictures of my hair.
