Guests arrived at 627pm thru the service door in the back of the hotel. Wanted to cancel reservation. Explained they were within the cancellation policy. They checked into their room and spent the night looking for things to complain about. Called the front desk at 830pm
stating the television and lights were not working. Front desk clerk promptly went over and found that the tv had been unplugged as well as the dish. Clerk replugged them in and set tv for dishWas again called at 930pm stating they had no heat. Clerk went promptly over to room. Both oil heaters, multiple phones and a card shuffler were all put on the same breaker. Upon dividing the load off circuit everything was running well Still looking for a way out. Clerk offered to move them into the main hotel but they refused. Clerk adjusted central heatOil heaters in room for added comfort I feel my staff did everything they could to accommodate these woman. There are at least a dozen hotels within walking distance so night vision was never in question. Our parking lot is well lit and under hour security surveillance. The rooms are very well maintained. When they were not able to cancel they threatened to post on internet. Will not be "Bullied" into changing our policies for them
