RESTAURANT HAS GONE TO HELL
WHAT happened to this place? Used to visit frequently and always on Christmas Eve with family. Last visit was on Christmas Eve and it was a disaster. Disgruntled patrons with reservations packed the lobby waiting to be seated. When seated there were no place settings, waited 20 minutes for someone to take a drink order, food tasted like it sat in refrigerator for days, and service was horrible. Furthermore the manager was unable to handle the situation. Restaurant should be renamed THE GRAND MESS, I will never frequent this eatery again.

In an original message from the Revdex.com it read "This message is in regard to your complaint submitted on 2/18/2015 1:29:30 pm against Grand Concourse.  Your complaint has been sent to the business for their response.  Once they have responded to the Revdex.com, we will contact you again.  In the meantime, if you have further dealings directly with the business, please send us a message to inform us."  I, unfortunately, interpreted this message as I should not be in contact with the company until I hear back from the Revdex.com first.I originally phoned the restaurant on 2/16/15.  I was told by the general manager that I would immediately hear back from the parent company, [redacted]'s.  I did not hear back from them until 2/19/15 at which time I received a voicemail, and after which time I had already contacted the Revdex.com and received the above message.  I received another voicemail message from the parent company on 3/4/15.  I then contacted the Revdex.com to make sure I was permitted to contact the company back.  After gaining this permission I called [redacted] from [redacted]'s both on 3/5/15 and 3/6/15 and left messages. They have failed to call me back.I have not received any apology from [redacted]'s or spoken with them directly to date.

Review: My husband and I ate at the Grand Concourse on Sunday, Feb 15,2015. I ordered a chicken dish. I ate half and took the remaining home to have for lunch the next day. To my alarming surprise, the following day, after warming up my leftovers in the microwave for 2 minutes, I cut into my chicken and it was raw. That means the previous evening it had been even more raw. I hadn't noticed because the resrestaurant is very dimly lit. I am 15 weeks pregnant and so I completely lost it. I called my ob/gyn and they told me to monitor for any flu like symptoms over the next few weeks. They also told me to contact the restaurant, which I did. I spoke with the General Manager who took down my information and assured me that someone from corporate would call me back. Two days later and I haven't heard from them. Being pregnant I am a high risk consumer and would've certainly thought more attention, or some at all, would have been provided by such an establishment. I just pray for the health and safety of my unborn baby!!!Desired Settlement: A PHONE CALL or email communication and contact over the next few weeks to confirm no illness has resulted from this potentially serious mishap. An apology for negligence up until this point. A refund of the poor service rendered.
