Grand Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

I was in an emergency situation and desperate for a room late one Saturday night and booked a Saturday/Sunday stay but the night rolled over to Sunday before the transaction was completed. The midnight woman at the desk would not allow me to check in and was very rude. I was forced to find another hotel. I spoke with the day time person, Amy, who again was very rude and continually screened my calls to prevent me from speaking with the manager, Adam. After a dozen calls, with no returned phone call, I got the corporate office involved who not surprisingly at all, got right through to "Adam". Adam refused to give me a refund despite me not staying there and the mistake on their end for the booking dates. They stole my money and were rude about it. The corporate office did nothing for me. Never again will I stay at any Choice Hotel.
