This consumer's mother has been a very good customer here, and all repairs and invoices are in her name Struts, Ac Compressor, brakes, etcwere brought in by consumer as he wanted us to use his own parts We agreed to do this because his mother is a long time, valued customer (in most instances we will not use parts supplied by the consumer) and half of the parts were wrong We called *** mother, because we did not have *** number She advised to do whatever I needed to do I contacted *** and asked for a favor and asked them if I could exchange the parts that the consumer bought that were incorrect which they allowed me to do I did not have to do this, I could have just advised Mr*** to get the correct parts himself and then I would work on his car
I advised the consumer that the struts he brought in are the wrong parts and that he needs to get them from Ford
I greased up all the bearings and parts and told the consumer to drive it for a few hundred miles to see if that helps
Consumer brought the vehicle back and I contacted Ford and was advised they are vintage parts There is no safety issue with driving the car and I advised the consumer's mother of this The car sat here for weeks and the consumer came back in and asked if the car was driveable, advised consumer that I had contacted his mother weeks ago and let her know that the vehicle was safe to drive
The consumer then left with the vehicle and we did not hear from him again, and then we received this complaint
At this point, the consumer was not charged for any work on the struts as we provided no service other than the greasing them as a favor to him, and the consumer is not owed anything
He's complaining about services that were not provided because the correct parts were not supplied by Mr***

I brought my car to this company and they did do good work on some things, but when it came to fixing suspension I encountered many problems with this companyI brought my car to them a total of two timesthe first time they had several parts to install which they did but I also wanted suspension fixed which they did notAlso when I picked up my car the first time not only did all problems remain with suspension I now have a very loud annoying squeak which I did not have prior to this shop working on my carI returned with my car a few days later to have suspension worked on again and now also the loud squeakafter this point I do not believe the car was even being attempted to being worked onit sat and sat for about monthduring that month they went back and forth about the parts I neededthey said I needed struts then I didnt need struts then it was the springs and struts etcthen they could not find partswhich I did in about minThey never addressed the very loud squeak that they producedI finally went to pick up my car and was told more storiesi asked for my keys and a little bit of air for a leaky tirenever gave me air waited about five minutes and just left driving on an almost flat tire
I would like my car to be repaired but not by these guysI think when they did the repairs the first time they damaged something or knocked something out of alignmenti would like another shop of my choice to look over car (GI auto techs work) and if any problems occurred do to thier they should be responsible for repairsI have taken very good care of this car and mechanic even said what good condition car was inI just dont feel that they thought it should be this way for whatever reason I coulndnt tell you

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.today I went to drive my car and now car wont even stay started. Funny how ever since I recieved my car back it has more problems now. this is a car that the mechanic said was in very good condition now all of a sudden there are more undesired noises and now car wont even stay started. this was only the third time I have driven car since I got it back. I believe my car was just vandalized while at this shop and was never repaired which is ridiculous and completely unacceptable.
I would like my car to be fixed back to the way it was before they screwed it up. im sure they know excatly what they did to it. but I do not want anyone form that shop to touch my car ever again.
