Northtown had tried to contact the customer on several occasion without success A check was sent to the customer on 06/05/ Our apologies for the delay

We handled this complaint with the customer immediately and the customer said he was very happy and was going to drop the Revdex.com claimI apologize for the delay, I truly thought this case was dropped by the customerI will contact the customer directly today and then reply again on Monday Sincerely, Tom [redacted]

Mr [redacted] was involved in the repairs of a Hyundai Elantra insured by one [redacted] .The vehicle was presented for repair on February and completed on March9, 2017.The total cost of the repair was $3,139.37, of which $2,was paid by ***and $1,was the customer's deductible, which has not been paid.The vehicle, a lease return, was removed from our property without payment.Since that time Northtown has made every reasonable effort to collect the unpaidamount amicably and has spoken with the customer on several occasionsOn July26th, 2017, the customer informed Northtown that payment had been made and thatthey would "check with the bank to see if it cleared." We advised the customer atthat time that we had no record of receiptRecently Mr [redacted] recanted and nowclaims to have paid $1,in cash, on Ms [redacted] 's behalf withoutobtaining receiptMr [redacted] is unable to identify to whom payment was made.North town has no record of any payment.North town has not received the payment due despite numerous demands and willfile legal claim against Ms [redacted] for the amount due, cost, fees and interest onSeptember 28, 2017.Yours truly,W.L***Director, Fixed OperationsNorthtown Automotive CompaniesEncl

In regards to Complaint #***, we were actually trying to tie up Mr ***'s car for as little time as possible because he is a Taxi DriverUnfortunately we needed the vehicle to determine the correct parts that were required for the entire repair, so rather than tear the engine down and
let his car sit until all of the parts arrived, we gave it back to him so that he could use itWe have since done the repair to his satisfaction and kept it the minimum time possible so that he could continue to use it in his business.Sincerely,David W***General Manager

In regards to complaint # ***, we have refunded the $that Mr*** spent for a tire rotation and oil change on his 181,mile *** ***We are required by New York State law to not pass inspection of a vehicle with a bad steering rackWe would be glad to show Mr*** the reason that we said he needed to replace the steering rack if he was willing to give us the opportunityWe would be more than happy to bring the truck in and put it on a lift, at no charge to Mr***, and then show him why we were unable to pass his vehicles NYS inspection.Sincerely,*** ***General Manager

This is in reference to complaint #[redacted]. I do want my money back. It is bothering me that every time I walk by my truck the tires are not rotated. I was stolen from. I also am not sure that they even DID the oil change as there is no oil change sticker. They must have because oil was spilled all...

over but at this point I don't trust anyone. I want my money back for work that was not done as well as for time consumed by me cleaning up oil spillage all over my engine. And I want them to have a bad rating so people like me won't get stolen from and lied to by Northtown Toyota.

Ms. [redacted] was in the dealership today and has determined that her current concerns are unrelated to the concerns experienced 4 months ago.  We also discussed that since we did not sell the vehicle, we are not in a position to simply replace it. We understand that Ms. [redacted] is comfortable...

with the resolution today and we feel the matter is closed.
